I know its probably not realistic but in an ideal world id like to see them released immediately.................................................................and left to fend for themself. I agree with some of the above northernlad, KC bitches cannot have a registered litter more than once a year which non KC can, this leaves a floodgate open to puppy peddlers and some idiots just breeding their bitch every season because they can, there are clowns in THE WHOLE of the dog world breeding far too many litters of dogs, just look at the for sale section on here, it's never short of so called "working terriers/lurchers" , and half of the posts on here are clowns breeding the dogs without a clue on puppy care, some of the photos turn my stomach on these sites of the poor pups bred by

well we were brought up with my mum telling us the usual that god is good and he was jesus' dad , mary was jesus' mum etc etc etc and by my dad (who is atheist) telling us god is a black woman and mary was no virgin and jesus was the biggest con artist of his time ............. used to make me laugh cause my mum got fair angry with him, she would tell him to stop telling us those untrue things and he would always ask her to prove him wrong ................needless to say i dont pray to any god or practice any religeon, best way i suppose!!

i didn't say it didn't go on in the KC northernlad, i said the people i take anything to do with and KNOW have never done it, the dog world is full of lies whether they are kc, non kc, puppy farm bred, pet bred, and not forgetting work bred...........some of us are honest and some not when it comes to dogs, as i have said many times........a pedigree is only as honest as the person who wrote it!!

Errm i dont breed english bulldogs and i dont breed non KC terrier types, i keep what i've got and am happy with without ANY genetic or congenital defects and wont be detrimental to any future stock off of mine, as for genetic deformities in dogs as i've said before that is down to BAD BREEDERS not the KC, do you think non kc dogs don't have genetic deformities and do you think some of these non kc dog breeders notice??

Northern Lad are you reading this from a book or are you serious?KC papers tell idiots what they want to hear,show people NEVER NEVER put the proper breeding of their champs for all to see,they would be afraid some competitor would know what way they crossed this and that line or particular dog to some particular bitch to get some show shite champion or champions.They always stick in one or two wrong ones in the peds when selling or registering,the pups may not be even from the same litter.The serious working terrier man(not the fly by night men)can trace his peds for years and years all down

Line breeding is absolutely fine and the best route to go when breeding your own line that suits your needs........grandfather/granddaughter,half brother/sister, UNLESS there is a genetic/congenital problem in the line somewhere, IF you have a very sound bitch it is important NOT to bring any defects into the line so is worth knowing where she is from, Inbreeding is just a BIG NO in my opinion, this causes faults eventually.......mother/son, father/daughter, full brother/sister, line breeding isn't the cause of problems in SOME breeds...........bad breeders are, the same bad breeders you get e

oh dear all them smooth patterdales and bedlingtons that go to ground must be freezing their whatnots off, and also YES a border should be stripped BUT it does it no harm whatsoever if it is clipped obviously NOT to be shown, only for work or the comfort of elderly dogs, no harm clipping whatsoever unless it's one of the types with a shit coat that turns to lint (which i have seen plenty of recently), my old dogs coats clipped down always come back to their harsh self, guess im lucky and mine have always had cracking jackets!! also dead hair should always be brushed completely out before clipp

bitch badly milked up after first season

I have always found with my bitches over the years that the best method for clearing up the milk is plenty exercise,( more than normal) and slightly cut down food, most treatments are a minor dehydration to clear the milk but i have never used any of them,symptoms have always gone away on their own. Honey badger............how long has the lump been there? if there is one lump and it is hot and swollen and sore on the bitch to touch then i'd get her checked out for an abscess
