    Vixen, not sure about one or two; although this was all done with private funds. So that's good. As far as number 3, see my post on the previous page. Gaza, the balloon deflated and came back down from what I heard. Thanks for that............i'm scared of heights so when i see these things i can't for the life of me understand why anyone would do it or what good it does, but i suppose if they fund it themselves and they are happy doing it well good luck to them

    ok so i watched it with baited breath and was impressed BUT couldn't help thinking........... 1/ wonder how much that cost? 2/ can a random skydiver ask to better this record? 3/ what did it achieve? serious questions as i don't know anything about jumping out planes/balloons/skydiving etc........

    The wee soul probably went on those sites because she had nothing better to do,she didn't have many friends if any, she was extremely withdrawn and let down by the few people she trusted, this would have given her major confidence issues and being a young girl in todays society an easy target for bullies,yes she done things she regretted (who hasn't?), young people don't think before they do some things, all part of growing up and learning, the big wide world is a cruel place full of cruel people, and people who dont take time to notice others in trouble or just dont want to notice!

    That is so sad , poor wee soul, what a beautiful wee girl,.........................yes she made mistakes (who hasn't??), if we don't make mistakes we don't learn from them but unfortunately this wee girl let society get to her, a lot of the bullying would obviously have been jealousy from the usual horrid school bullies because she was so pretty, such a shame she let it go so deep but these sick bullies from the sick internet stalker to the sick school idiots knew she was fragile and an easy target......wee soul

    Yes it is i agree...........a "working terrier" SHOW, which means ANYONE with a terrier LOOKING type dog capable of working is eligible to enter their dog pay their £1 towards fundraising and have the judge give his/her opinion on the day

    At the end of the day a working terrier lurcher show is usually held to raise funds for a club or hunt, these small shows are supposed to be "fun" fundraising events, Judges........well judges are all different and have different ideas, unfortunately some judges no matter how long they have kept dogs/worked dogs still can't recognise major faults or a very badly put together dog, these are things that always have and will happen at these shows, you could go to one of these shows with the almost perfect dog in every way possible and get beat in the ring by a dog that looks like it's been made

    we recently travelled 4 1/2 hrs each way to a fun day, we had a laugh met up with some pals old and new, had a go on the archery and the like spent £130 on fuel and a white lurcher with a yellow piss stain on it's coat from dirty bedding won our class......should we have to take a chance on honesty or integrity ? well you took the chance............maybe you think your dog was the best but obviously the judge didn't..........that's shows for you, judges can't please everyone on the day

    Conformation comes into it big time..............ALL working/ non working dogs should have good conformation to do the job bred for, some judges know what good conformation is and some dont, a chance you take at a "fun" day out show

    Emm surely you are not serious?? so last year when i judged cock of the north i should have had 38 invites out with terriers?? get a grip..........sometimes there are 50 and more terriers in a ring, maybe some would have the time to go work their dogs legally ie(gamebird conservation) every weekend in season (which wouldn't be enough time) just to judge a show with dogs from all over britain BUT i think you'll find most judges have other committments.........ie." the real world", family,work................geeez and the lurcher judge can take a year out too for judging duties .........that is

    I've never had a litter of 10 GOD FORBID !! But .................in the past i have had a litter of 5 , kept 2 gifted 2 and sold the remaining pup to someone who had been waiting 2yrs for one of mine for a lot less than 400, ..............i have never sold a bitch for more than a dog (who does that?) they dont have to be KC registered to sell for vast amounts, take a look on the pup selling sites at all the designer NON KC pups, and the most amount of money i have ever seen changing hands for a dog was non kc terriers at "working" shows............four figures

    No border is sold at working mans prices!! Yip some are given away to select homes.........

    Nope i have never sold pups to make money,i have given borders away to certain working homes and i have given the use of my dog free stud to certain working terriermen/keepers, i have had a litter of two pups in the last six years, both dogs, i had the litter to hopefully keep a bitch, both went to friends as one of them had just lost her old border, brother to the old dog in top pic!! OOOh bitchee grant c..........tut tut
