its easyer for the half wits to spout shit , than do some thing about it,all talk and no action, or hands on exspirence,out of the 40,000 members i doubt if 50 of them have ever dug to a dog,thanks darlo keep in touch by phone as this place is full of them.

spot on alimac, we have a dog that stays, but as im to old to get down to him quickly ive to watch where i go with him, i cant let him loose anymore , but we have a bolting bitch that can be taken out day after day to big spots, to me she is very handy to have about, as you get older you cant dig down so quick and it gets abit worrying when your stayer is 7ft down and you hunt alone, bolters are useful,
-
would you ask him along to see the dog work,? bit of a numb nut question is,nt it, most freinds in the working dog world have afew days out together, dont you think,
-
what is needed is a stud book, a working stud book at that,and an honest terrier lad to witness the said dogs working,

ONE WORD, CRETIN,

go to country kilns site they will tell you if you need it to be fitted by an expert or not,and they are heatas engineers that supply the burners,{in the any questions section}
-
heard about this last night, hope you find her,
-
try country kilns, they have alot to choose from,we have the multi fuel la fille its the best thing we have bougth in years, i cut logs every day when out with the dogs,coal is not smokeless, but you can get smokeless coal, home fire,staybright, ect,if you already have a working open fire as we did fit the fire your self, the chimney was safe for the open fire so it will safe for the multi burner,

dave do you keep borders and if so do you sell pups or give out too trusted digging men when some are spare and if you do sell whats your going rate i do keep borders, the last litter we had we let them go to afew off this site,one never made it, one was returned and went on to work, one is being used as aflushing dog and works well, the one i kept started well to fox but never made a digger but she bolts them ok,20 pound for the reg is all i asked, but i have charged 150-175 before, we dont breed them often, and i work my dogs mostly on my own,[ trusted digging men are like hens teeth] lol,
-
if they want to charge high price.s let them.un like the lads that work them, they will never know the feeling of digging to your own border dog,i would say most of the lads that work there borders are not in it for money,most show people and pedlers are,how sad that they will never know the true character of breed.
-
i dont think bert gripton was mad, read his letter in april edrd mag,bolting terriers have place ,for me its up to the owner of the terrier weather he /she breeds from it, as there the one,s going to work it,if you dont want or need a bolter then you wont have one in your kennels,but if you do then you will have,

my borders are a pain in the arse on deer, they yap like hell on them, they do open up on fox and rabbit, but not as much as the deer, i went out bushing this morning with my border dog and lurcher and ended up digging a hole 3 ft deep to him and a vixen,i lost my knife, the b&f box fell in the hole and old foxymade afew holes in it,borders will bush just like any other terriers, you get good uns and one,s not so good, but most of all they should be dug to,
