  1. The pup and fly were battling it out this morning. Gem is very confident, she's already jumping our 4ft back gate which is a nightmare because we live on the main road. Im going camping next week near Whitby, will be good to get them on beach everyday. Get some fitness into fly as well. I did begin to call her Bonnie, until I told TOMO and I find out his pup is called Bonnie. So i changed it to GEM incase we go out together in the future.
  2. good stuff jigsaw. Hows the pups feet?
  3. At the beginning she didn't pay her much attention but I think she likes the company now.
  4. Heres a short video of my 17 weeks old pup playing in the garden with old Fly. Shes very much full of herself and even Ffly has took to her. http://youtu.be/qG77OAbI-G8 all the best rew

  8. I just done a 9 hour shift suffering with a cold, picked the lads up. Walked some bloody miles and then dropped them both off. Then had to go work 2- 10pm feeling shit. Very good night again though. Lass is turning into a handy lamping bitch. The season should be good. Heres a clip of the night. http://youtu.be/Oo376_koUwY Even fly is still doing me proud, 4 rabbits and retrieved hares. Not bad for a nearly 8 year old cripple.
  9. Nice one Nottz, good to know he's ok. Really looking forward to bringing these pups on next season. Then would be a good time to get pet insurance.

  17. Lovely dogs mate. Good luck with keeping the pup. Im still living with my dad at 23, its all well until he doesn't want you back the night so he can see to his girl friend. So I give him a hour . Can't wait for him to feck off to france and stays there. Its always been a big issue with me ever having another dog but hes eventually given in but now im in two minds what to do. Stay here and take on the rent or find my own place. lifes hard man

  19. Thanks hot meat. I have heard about the Sherpa vans so they might come in handy when I need my lamp and battery carrying lol or probably the dog with her bad feet and myself.
  20. How far is this and how long ill it take you? I love my ales also. Me and friend hitched hiked to cornwall a few years ago now. We started back packing around the coast. I didn't take the lurcher but I did take two traditional longnets. They weighed more than the rest of my gear but third night in and I put them to use, but we didn't have any hazel so I used tent poles. Caught my first Cornish rabbit and made a mega stew the next day. We ate like kings and shared some with some other campers. After that though I just used snares.
