    this is a funny subject really most people think that russells a baying little hunt type terriers,but mine dont bay.they work very similar to lakelands that i have had.you get some good russells and some bad.and am not saying that baying russells are bad either.

    each to their own mate every body has there own opinion of working terriers,thats just how it is!some people prefer fells others russells or lakelands etc.it personally doesnt bother what breed it is if it does the job for you and you like the dog thats good enough.

    hello stephen 08,black terriers seem to have become more popular over the last few years but you get good working terriers in all colours shapes and sizes.i have two russells i currently work and a black and tan all work well in different ways.just because a dog may be hard doesnt always mean that its good,there is a time and place for a hard dog.

    i will only kennel one dog and one bitch in together,have seen what can happen with two bitchs together but would never put three together.

    take your time,but be alot easier if you find an experianced terrier man to take you out a time or two.

    dont let your dog any where near the rats because of the poison,if your eats a poisened one it will be in trouble!!

    would never have a terrier with a full tail,dont know if it hinders them or not.they just dont look right.
