Hi I have a collie x grey/whippet 12months old ,ive had dogs for close to 25yrs this is the first collie x before i got her everybody i talked to said easy to train will want to learn, well its like teaching a pig to knit.....she ignores me wont come to treats and if i show any annoyance shes gone ive never hit her. She has a hatred for my gamefowl and runner ducks that i cant break but is a1 with all livestock in the field shes ok on the lamp only been out 3 times and had a couple lamp off and shes back but daytime working and at home shes what i can only describe as a t**t. When the sap is up and in leaf the bark will shrink and crinkle when drying as opposed to staying smooth, the wood itself will season better and be easier to work when cut in autumn/winter also the hazel stool you cut from will grow back better the following spring. Hope this helps

Hi im a green woodworker and hedgelayer and the best time to cut any sticks is once the leaf has fallen and the sap has stopped rising.

Hi mate all id say is make sure you get one from the right stuff as i was sold a 3/4 bred wheaten grey from a man in Durham about 5 yrs ago didnt see the sire took his word for the bitch, and ended up with the most timid shy bitch you could imagine she fills the freezer but will not touch anything sharp shes with me till her last as i dont pass on dogs

Hi just picked up a pup 5months old mums a working collie and the sire is a whippet grey saluki grey, shes very bright but i can see shes gonna be a handfull anyone else got this type

Seems like you can only sell safely to people you know, Ive met people to sell gamefowl they bought the birds but their mates in another car tried to follow me when i left so watch out when your out there.

Hi everyone just wondered if anybody knows where i can get painkillers for my dog,she had a broken toe 2yrs ago that effects the tendon and if shes run hard can be lame for a couple of days. If I go to the vets he tells me what I already know and charges a small fortune,I used to get them off Ginger French before he stopped. Id rather this didnt turn into a character assasination of him I just want some rimadyl or previcox any help would be appreciated.
