....its like trying to have a conversation with the tweenies....run along and call some names to your little mates kid im out of it.
-
Is that the same as " if they are interfeering they are off side " ???....standng in front of the keeper is interfeering with play mate, simple as that.....then again you seem more of an expert/pundit than hansen/lawrenson and the rest.....and you went to an academy so........you must no best ! Theres a difference between blind loyalty to your club like you have....and sensible grown up loyalty where people admit the truth !..... ps...history is in the past not the future, hence chelsea have none....but rightly so may have if the russian sticks around.
-
Then go ask your dad what it was like down there in the 70,s and ,s.....a bog standard division 1 team thats what it was.....i like to see any london team do well ( well apart from millwall )....but chelsea football club have not done well and it seems its only the youngsters that try to defend it....the old timers make the most of the glory...but they also know and admit how they got it ! By the way, with all that talent i would of thought a young lad like you would know the offside rule ! " shit club no history " rings around every ground they go to.....surely the whole country cant be wron
-
lurcherchavvy...despite the fact you sound like a teenager...,i,ll speak to you like an adult.....if a player is standing in front of the goalkeeper blocking his field of vision,he is interfeering with play.......so the offside goal was clearly dissallowed for good reason.....as for who had the better of the game and deserved the win well thats debatable and im not arguing either way....but the fact is the game was decided on 2 penalty decisions that both went in favour of chelsea that in my opinion were both wrong, hence i feel they was lucky to go through. The reason most people detest chels

For me that whole game last night rested on 2 bad penalty decisions....would the ref have given chelsea that penalty if he hadnt 2 minutes previously disallowed the offside goal? maybe not......having put the whistle to his mouth and started pointing to the spot when hyypia was brought down, had he blown it...your talking 4-4 and a liverpool win !....very lucky to get through in my opinion....hopefully the big club with history and tradition and not just money will win the final.

Well if its a big lips competition drogba wins hands down,...that man has got to do be the ugliest human being ive ever seen !....and he,s a girlie prat.....good job he can play football or he wouldnt have much going for him would he.
-
The difference is vidic went off like a man and got treatment.....drogba would have rolled from one end of the pitch to the other, cried like a baby and most probably have needed trauma therapy as well as counselling....if a little nudge drops him as easily as it does imagine what a real knock would do to him.....he must be an embarassment to any chelsea fan.
-
Hopefully the scousers will dump them chelsea scum out tonight and go on to beat utd in a great final.....im a londoner and i despise chelsea as most non chelsea supporters do more than any other team.....wouldnt be surprised to see a high scoring game tonight....4-3 aggregate win for the pool i think/hope

Bang on.......if your dog gave up the chase you wouldnt be happy,if your ferret turned away you wouldnt be happy,if a stranger bopped you on the nose would you stand and take it.......we as proud english people need to look in on ourselves and not expect from an animal what we cant give ourself......and turning away and giving up on our country is quitting, curring out, giving up...whatever words you want to call it.......personally i cant quit on my country as much as it sickens me at times.

I was really pleased to see a fair and correct decision...i was sure beforehand that if it went to a close decision hopkins would get the nod...but for once the outcome was spot on even if the scorecards were somewhat strange....personally i had it 115-113 for Joe....although the punch stats show joe landing so many more punches in pro boxing unlike amateur stats dont score points....i dont buy into this " slapping " calzaghe punches,BUT the fact is a punch that does not land with the knuckle part of the glove will not go down as a scoring punch even though it will count on the stats sheet as

Its worth remembering.....an american fighting in les vegas....with 3 las vegas judges !!...in a fight very likely to go the distance..... Also, hopkins has brought in freddie roach,a brilliant trainer tactically...... End of his career or not this will be a great victory for calzaghe........im picking a points win for hopkins....maybe a controversial one.
-
He said it in his book Bill.....give me a few days and i,ll even let you know what page !......another few notable points he spoke of in his book were..." i would never fight a war like the benn- eubank fight "....." i would never put myself in a fight like that where i knew injury was a serious threat ".....im not bashing joe i think he probably is one of the all time greats in his division....i just feel he has no right to expect the recognition worldwide that he does when he simply hasnt showed enough willingness to meet and beat the best......its unrealistic to expect roy jones / bernard h

This also is only an opinion as i dont know the kid.....but i do think it a little odd when anyone old or young has a lot of dogs pass through their hands while money is being exchanged......especially dogs of such varying breeds.....a lot of dogs of one breed you could say the person specialises in that breed....if no money is changing hands you could say the person is a genuine dog lover doing right by the canine species in general...inwhich case if he has a good kennel set up,his dogs recieve good treatment and care, then good on him...but a lot of different breeds being bought and sold and

The fight was talked about many times.....but as with most of the top yanks they disregarded calzaghe when joe made it clear from early on that he wouldnt go to america, and rightly so in my opinion....america is the boxing capital of the world thats just how it is....in his book calzaghe himself asks why he should travel when he is champ.....then he hinted at his fear of flying.....so why go now ???....joe never wanted career defining fights...he wanted to keep an unbeaten record at any cost.....he also admitted he has never taken a fight he thought he might lose....this fight could and should
-
I think calzaghe has the style and stamina to take a points win.....BUT ...my moneys on hopkins to take a slim and maybe very controversial points win.....you can bet your boxxxxks if its close hopkins will get the nod and personally i cant see either knocking each other out.... I think its only fair that calzaghe gets no great credit even if he totally overwhelms hopkins....he should have taken the plunge and took this fight 7 years ago.....but as is the way with our top fighters these days they wait till the best are on the slide and then try to claim a great victory.... Good luck to joe b

Feel for you mate........hope theres a happy ending.

Everybody sets their own standards....no matter who the person or what the dog at the end of the day the only person a dog needs to please is its owner and if the owners pleased with his dog its a good dog.....nobody is happy with a dog that cant or wont do the job we expect it to do.....but if we set our standards very high their is going to be more " shit " dogs than good dogs...if our standards are very low there will be more "good " and "great " dogs talked about......so naturally we can only judge a dog by our own standards which may be very different to somebody elses.....1 man may have

Personally i dont think he needs a real test, but part of the problem with hyping someone like they have done with khan...is you are then under pressure to fight big names....i dont think khan is ready for the top level fighters yet but i think he will now get pushed into them before he is ready....boxers are not machines, they all grow, learn, mature and improve at different rates...i believe khan needs more hard gym time myself but he is too busy running round putting his face everywhere which is another drawback to being touted as a star before you are one !
-
barry mcguigan is paid to give his views on boxing and boxers,he,s not paid to hype people....if he was he would hype every fighter not just khan.... i make you dead right about the hype that the public swallows.....and this has been my argument since the start of khans career.....the first 2 years of khans career has been absolutely no different to any other talented fighter...no different to nigel benn ...no different to tyson or any other young prospect.....if the public want to fall for all the hype and bullshit and expect young prospects to be getting beaten up while they are learning th
-
So with all this trashing of khan none of yous would think him good enough to win a version of a world title i take it ?.....well i,ll take bets with all and anyone who wants to...that he will within 2 years..... I dont like the kid but i recognise talent reagrdless of what colour or religion they are and i said from around his 4th or 5th pro fight that he had the talent to go all the way...wee barry mcguigan said the same and the last fighter he stuck his neck out and said the same about at such an early stage of their career was nigel benn !...which for me says something about his judgement

I know theres a few boxing fans on here,i dont often look at youtube but thought id have a flick through some of my favorite moments in the sport......this for me was the greatest single round in boxing history..... We all often over use the words " hard men " but for me they dont come much harder than this when it comes to raw courage and competetive spirit......these 2 never fought for the title, and were great friends with tons of respect for each other, both quiet humble men who simply had incredible will to win.....2 genuine " hard men " showing incredible warrior like spirit......

piss poor decision that....how could he not see it from 5 yards !....fancy liverpool to get through now
