wilf... Lenny was doing his job same as you or i would to the best of our ability but sometimes accidents happen,they always have and always will happen particularly in an environment like that.....theres a reason Lenny was THE most sought after bouncer in London and its not because he was a unstable nutbag......shit dont take my word for it ask around,theres not many people with a bad word to say about the man !

Cant see theres much a Sunderland fan could have to moan about they was outplayed in every area of the pitch,sometimes you just gotta take it on the chin.....i should know with my team being bottom of the league I thought Carrol looked a handful im looking forward to seeing his game develop....fair result all things considered.

The thing that makes the West Ham/Millwall so much more fierce is we only get to play them once in a blue moon !....most clubs play their rivals twice a year,or 4 times if your Scottish Ive been to the old firm derby,the scouse derby,mancs,arsenal/spurs.....and for sheer ferocity and nastiness none come close to West Ham/Millwall.....that said,i was in Turkey about 5 years ago and went to a Galatasary/Fenerbache match ....now that took some beating.

nah cant see it myself....Shearer was a different type of striker Carrol is a carbon copy of Ferguson in every way....i hope you do keep hold of him Newcastle are a great club who should be in top flight football battling it out with the best,and hopefully the kid Carrol keeps improving and pulls an England shirt on one day.

Done mean much these days mate does it....2 seasons with 20 plus goals per year and he.ll be gone.... Think your only hope is if he,s a loyal sort of kid to his area.....but money talks of course.

Im not a fan of either but would prefer to see a Newcastle win,looks a good prospect the lad Carrol reminds of a young Duncan Ferguson i reckon your might have trouble hanging onto him......wouldnt mind showing him the way down to West Ham but he,s probably not that desperate. Fantastic ground St.James,s should be a great atmosphere....2-1 Newcastle.

Lennie was 6 foot 2,in his late thirties he was around 17 stone though when on doors later on he was 20 stone. Roy Shaw is only about 5 foot 8....weight i have no idea at a guess id say 15 maybe 16 stone at his best

I dont think any of the well known actors could play the part well enough and to be honest i reckon it would be a dissapointment and not show Lenny in a good light.To find an actor with his aggression,size and intensity will be a challenge to any film director. Stathams too small.Winstones too out of shape.Kemps too dopey......Craig Fairbrass is possibly the only one he played Pat Tate very well in that footsoldiers film.

Although i understand the sentiment behind the video those are certainly not the " true dogs of the breed " ive ever seen.....infact its people like these with this fur mommy mentality that are everything thats wrong with the breed today and the dogs in that video are all poor examples and not true representatives of the breed. Its a working/sporting breed,the further away from work/sport you take them the more of the breed you lose and trying to turn them into nice cute fluffy animal friendly sweet little pooches is destroying a proud and noble breed.
