Must admit i dont understand this EDL thing.....im all for patriotism standing up for what you believe and keeping England English......but i dont get why the EDL see Muslims as the demon but nobody else.......personally i hate all foreigners the same im not prejudiced ..... Why protest against Muslims and not the rest of the worlds shit that comes here to exploit this country ?.....And whats a march going to prove ?....I remember all that shit from back in the NF days it never achieved nothing then,make yourself count with your vote if your serious about change.....and being as the EDL

Thats just the nature of signing a pro contract,some lads see it as a backward step but to me they have the wrong attitude,who wants to be a big fish in a small pond. I dont really know the mma game but i imagine its similar to turning pro as a boxer you have commited yourself to the sport and live the fighters life which as you already know if you have made it this far is a life of dedication. Reward for that dedication is success...... get in make a nice few quid and get out with everything intact hopefully setting yourself up for later life....that is a succesful career and dont let anyon

For me hunting comprises once every week or 2 tagging along with a few fellas who know a lot more about it than me,i find it very interesting and enjoyable.Im nowhere near as commited or dedicated as some folk on here it just fits adequately into life at this moment,hopefully later on in life i will become more involved with the learnings ive gained......and this website is another source of that learning and interest. Plus its a good place to take the piss out of northerners and jocks

Not into all the kung fu stuff myself but Bruce Lee as a character and a philosopher fascinates me.Im currently reading a real interesting book called The Warrior Within..." The philosophies of Bruce Lee to better understand the world around you and achieve a rewarding life " Im finding it a very interesting read,im not sure how easy it is to get hold of as it took me a lot of asking around to get it,so once im done your welcome to it though i must admit it takes me a fair while to get through books and im only half way through Very interesting read though.

To prove your the best you have to beat the other best fighters at their best....not wait until their finished and then beat them !....Calzaghe could have gone down as an all time great fighter of his time but never showed enough ambition to beat the worlds top fighters in their prime,instead preferring to protect an unbeaten record. -

I can well believe it....my father would tell me many stories about him as he fought a few times on Randy Turpin undercards at the White City.Being from East London i was constantly getting told stories of fighters from these parts though Randy Turpin was one of the few ( foreigners ) as he called them,the old fella would talk about -

I did meet Joe Bugner once not long after he moved to Oz and he wasnt my cuppa tea,but then i dont think he was anyones !...speaking of which,if im not wrong George Biddles took Jack Bodell to a British title win against Bugner ? and possibly managed Richard Dunn when he fought Ali,though i could be wrong. -

No,what was that and when was it ?....Jack was a little before my time although i was told many stories about him.As a small child my father introduced me to him after the Cooper/Clay fight which he promoted though i dont remember it at all i was too young and not jewish enough for him to pay me much attention His highlight was promoting the Sugar Ray Robinson/Randy Turpin fight which my old dad won a small fortune betting on Turpin at something like 33-1 ! -

Yes i can understand that....although i will say Frank Warren has been great for British fighters. Just out of interest i used to collect a lot of old fight films myself,as you probably know Jim Jacobs who was part of tysons old team had the biggest collection in the world at one stage,it got past down when he died and his son or gr son i forget which,sold them all off....a fiend of a friend managed to get some historic old fights that are worth a fair bit now.....so a collections always worth holding onto
