I think the confusion comes in with the terminology people use to discuss genetic inheritance......in the truest sense of the word no there is no specific hunting " gene " within dogs just the same as there is no " gameness " gene.....but there most definately is what we call " genetic traits " that are passed on....be it hunting,gameness,curs or whatever......these are not specific genes but are simply the overwhelming influence on genetic inheritance.

Your a good man bill In my opinion Paul Cook is a good trainer with some good prospects....BUT that whole stable works on a friendly friendly basis it is not anywhere near as competetive as some gyms......they are all a close bunch of lads from the same area all looking out for each other which is great....but a hard spar in that gym is not as competetive as a hard spar in for instance a brendan ingle gym as an example.......kevin mitchell has suffered some genuine injury setbacks but his want away has caused ripples for both himself and his brother whos another decent young prospect......a

and what is wrong with that its a shame more people with this " i bred the litter to keep one back for myself " dont apply this mentality and cull the excess....no you wouldnt deserve a pat on the back but you would be able to look in the mirror knowing you didnt use your dogs for financial gain and did things the right way.... these people who say they bred a litter to keep one back are just bullshitters trying to justify making money out of dogs.....10 pups....1 kept back....leaves 90 % for sale !!

Incidentally it seems quite funny now thinking this time last year i had lads on here taking the piss out of me because i said haye was a ten times better fighter than enzo maccarenelli before they fought.....now hayes fighting for a world heavyweight title and enzo.......well enzo is just enzo. If im not wrong they was the same lads off here taking the piss out of me for saying amir khan would win a world title inside 2 years..............just a shame none of them have the decency to honour the bets they made i had them down as better than that

Terrible shame he was one of lifes good guys i heard he did a lot for disabled and needy kids. They do say the brightest lights shine for the shortest time but the way he died is no way for anyone to die especially a fighter. RIP

I agree with this i think when your giving up as much size and strength as haye was going to against either klitchko you may as well give up a little bit more for a technically easier fight.I dont think haye could have beaten either klitchko myself but i give him a better than average chance of beating the russian.

Thought the ufc 100 was dissapointing last night bisping looked poor he looks intimidated when he steps up in class.....the st.pierre fight was somewhat boring.....and lesnar laying on top of someone for 2 rounds while thumping the side of their head is not going to go down well. But worst news of all is the tragic death of arturo gatti......one of the most popular boxers of recent times who had some good old fashioned rocky fights !...terrible loss in suspicious circumstances...........sounds like that school teachers been at him ! RIP Mr Thunder.

I think most will agree chens is the best in the country,i gave him a lot of money for a breeding pair of penangs last year,i also like the pigeon bases have a few checkerboard pigeons......dont know how local you are but your most welcome to raise a few penangs if you wish.nice pictures anyway,thanks

Like most other things mate todays siamese fighters are a long way from what they used to be,although they are kept seperated in jars in shops you shouldnt have a problem keeping more than 1 in a community tank.Had the odd one myself in the past only the little tiger barbs nip at their fins ! More into discus these days myself f*****g expensive though !! Show us a pic of your beta,s then mate fine looking fish alright.

I think it was a perfect indicator of what makes someone a true champion.His will to win,quality and desire at this stage of his career were obvious for all to see.He has to be the most complete player ever,great athlete,great technical ability,great dedication.Hats off to the man.
