  1. Get yaself down ere treacle i,ll get the mrs to give you a guided tour.....you can get a luvly drop of pie and mash or jellied eels after....dont be put off by the east euros we got the best ol bill in the world in london.....apparently
  2. Blimey slow down !!....is their any evidence to suggest London has a higher crime rate than any other major capital city in the world then ?....you dont need to be a clever person to realise you need to be a bit careful when visiting major cities, but dont make out like Londons a no go area !...I would bet my bollocks London is a safer place for tourists than most other major capital cities around the world. As for London zoo....as has already been said i wouldnt waste your time if thats all your interested in,plenty of other zoos to choose from expecially in the summer when every enclosure at
  3. Hard to tell in a dog so young standing awkwardly on a window sill !!....Give it a while and take some better pictures then ask the question again.
  4. As much as i love the sport i will lose every bit of faith in it if Harrison ever wins a world title....which i dont think he will. Ok he landed a great punch late on in the fight but ive never seen a fighter at international level with such fear of taking a punch !!...he flinches every time a fighter starts throwing punches and in my opinion is simply not a fighter in his heart.....it was a shame for sprott he,d done the hard part.
  5. Personally i dont begrudge any sportsman or athlete anything....a man is worth what someone is willing to pay and if wayne rooney, david haye or even jenson button can become rich on the back of sport then great good luck to them. The ones i feel a little sorry for are the likes of Stephen Redgrave,5 times olympic champion at one of the toughest of all sports, possibly our greatest living sportsman and he is probably no better off financially than your average solicitor ! But thats the way the cookie crumbles i guess and you have to make the most of what your good at. As for being a Boro f

    MESSI

Id put Maradona in the top 5 but definately not the best,ok he was in a world cup winning team and won the league for Napoli virtually single handed....but lets not forget he was one of the first of the generation of out and out roll around the floor cheats, the goal he scored against us in the hand of god game went down as an all time great goal, bollocks was it...every f****r was frightened to touch him ! With a ball at his feet he was fantastic, but did he have the speed, work rate or heading ability of some of the other greats....no..... And im not even a tiny bit bitter towards the little p
  7. My days of getting wound up by teenagers is long gone son ...for an englishman you dont seem to know a lot about english traditions !

    MESSI

No......i just couldnt bring myself to type the little c**ts name, besides he was only at the top 3 or 4 years....very overated in my opinion
  9. Pay attention i,ll say it again.....football is THE most popular sport not only in this country but worldwide....thats why its our national sport !....the fact people use the term " we " when speaking of their team so what !! England fought the germans in the war,i bet you say " we won " but what did you actually do ? how many shots did you personally fire ? I think your trying to cause argument where theres not one, human beings dictate whats popular and whats not and over many years human beings have dictated football is our national sport....you or me wont change that.
  10. Think he,s got a much better chance with Vladimir than he,s got with Vitali...i dont think Haye will change his style and why should he its got him to a world title and he,s not a kid...its just his style of fighting and he doesnt take too many punches,i think possibly both Klitchkos but certainly Vitali will just be too big for him,the thing on Hayes side is that he is still improving with every fight....Klitchko/s are probably as good as they will ever get. Personally id still like to see Haye change trainers Adam Booth has done well with him but he just hasnt got the big time fight experie

    MESSI

Probably the best in the world at this moment but he,s too young to be called the best ever he,s only been at the top 3 or 4 years....can you imagine Pele playing in todays times of bowling green pitches and carpet slipper boots !! Personally id put Pele,Best and probably Ruud Gullit all above Messi.....no reason why he couldnt be the best ever over time as he certainly has everything, that said id put Ronaldo at least on par with him.
  12. Get used to it mate.....its our national sport and the most popular sport worldwide....that makes YOU the minority and the fact people get wound up over it is because its a passionate game and some folk are traditional in their ways, nothing wrong with that in fact its good to see passion in the dopey tolerant times we now live in.
  13. I watch my team week in week out home and away so think im qualified to judge Scott Parker....he is certainly not a top player,in fact he is very limited....what he does have is 100% commitment and a fantastic will to win....i wouldnt say West Ham are a shit team,we have massive tradition at this club which unfortunately in the last few years has been pushed to the side.I never wanted Zola in the first place as i knew it would mean bringing over average foreign players which is what has happened.West Ham have always been known for bringing through young talent and have possibly the best record
  14. Cant remember who but i know theres a few Everton fans on here.....did yous go yesterday ? Must admit we had a result getting a draw,i know the ref shafted you a bit and luck went our way but its about time West Ham had some luck, that might be a vital point we picked up there... Atmosphere didnt seem as good as in the ground as years gone by i think our little mob out noised you Thought your lad Pienaar had a good game i didnt think he was all that before but looked a decent player......no match for little Scott Parker though
  15. Fair play to the lad.....starting strenous exercise after that kind of thing takes some bottle just to have trust in your heart again....shame for one so young but sounds like he,s doing ok.Great stuff
  16. Ruiz is the wba number 1 contender and a 2 time world champion beating/losing and drawing with Holyfield.........word it however you like he is a worthy opponent at this stage of Hayes career....or did you want him jumping in with both klitchkos on the same night.... Personally i think Haye will stop Ruiz mid rounds
  17. Hardy is a striker,he has a very hard punch.....in his own words he only needs to connect his hand with st pierres face one time in 25 minutes and the fight will be finished ( his own words )....yet he barely threw a punch !!...he was on his feet at least 5 times in the fight but refused to commit himself and throw hard punches...thats not trying to win. Frank Mir in recent years has hardly submitted anyone....he proved even with someone of lesnars size and strength that he can beat them by doing what he does best.....yet insists on standing trading punches with people instead of sticking to
  18. Personally i think the kid Hardy totally embarrassed himself....i sky plussed it and watched it the next day, even my mrs said " why does that bloke keep trying to show off his gumshield " !!....all that cringeworthy posturing and nonsense is ok if you go out and try to win a fight, but Hardy never made any real effort to win and the fact he wouldnt tap out and is clearly a tough enough kid shows no guts whatsoever if he is not actively trying to win....which he wasnt....anyone can stand there and get beaten up,but true guts and gameness is when your doing that while trying to win yourself. It
  19. Look at players like Anelka and Henry who Wenger bought for peanuts and sold for millions having turned them into great players, dont forget Henry went to Arsenal as a winger !.....thats a whole lot different to Mourinho or Ferguson buying already established superstars. Wenger is a man with high principals he wont just go out and spend money for the sake of it or to replace a player, its worth remembering arsenal have played virtually the whole season this year without their best striker Van Persie....Wenger didnt just go out and splash money to replace him like the others would have..... Im
  20. A good accountant is worth his weight in gold....these days you will have one do your annual returns for a couple of hundred quid, and will most likely save you 10 times that.
  21. Yes i think Wenger is a better manager than Ferguson or Mourinho....the trouble with having endless money to spend is it can disguise true quality as a manager.....as an example,i personally think David Moyes is probably the best manager in the premier league in recent years,Roy Hodgson also.....very little outlay for reasonably succesful teams playing good football..... I think Wenger has probably become bigger than Arsenal now as he clearly has money to spend but doesnt spend it,he is a chairmans dream !

    Huntley

Personally i think the likes of huntley should simply be jailed nothing more nothing less....what he shouldnt get is protection,if he wants to top himself then crack on,if other people want to attack or kill him then tough shit if your big and man enough to kill small children then best you make sure your man enough to defend yourself when it comes on top......if not........well nature has a funny way of taking care of itself when left alone.
  23. Go to the same stage of benns career....who had he fought before his first loss ? about 25 dead bodies thats who....for any bull terrier enthusiasts he even resorted to bashing up poor shaun barkers brother russell in a round !!....yes later in his career he fought the best, but who says khan wont do the same. You say khan would never sign to fight a man of mcclellans calibre....i remember people saying exactly the same thing early in benns career when he was fighting for burt mcarthy.....burt was offered the watson fight a long time before it happened but refused the fight until there was
  24. Must admit i lost interest in the mma stuff recently, the pathetic yank ways of obssesive screaming, hand gestures and hyping things up got the better of me,along with those cringeworthy gumshields !! ive seen it all now " intimidating gumshields " ......but.....st pierre and frank mir are both fighters i admire as they fight with intelligence as well as talent.I cant see the english kid getting much change out of st pierre and frank mir seems to have a new lease of life and has worked on his pure strength in the last year,if his conditioning is up to par i think he can beat near all the heavyw
