Its so easy for folk to lose their cool when a string of bad form or bad results come along.....but the reality is there is very little to choose between around 10/12 teams in the premier league,who will probably not win it any time soon,but also will not be relegated any time soon....liverpool being one of them.........so it really cant be a massive shock that they have a bad run from time to time....i think this run proves how much liverpool miss gerrard....but i find this moaning about benitez ridiculous......too much emphasis these days is put on managers....i would bet my bollocks liverpo

Not sure about that statement....i know a few watford lads and they admit marlon king was adored while he was playing there...... I dont see it as any worse of a crime just because he,s a pro footballer theres any number of dicks walking around thinking their the bees knees at least the lad did actually do something worth bragging about......that said,how he didnt do any time before this is beyond my logic

I disagree...haye proved in the mormeck fight he has the heart for a battle after suffering a heavy knockdown in that fight to come back and knock the guy out.......no trainer can give you heart no.....but a trainer can certainly give you great motivation and make you tactically aware during a bout that is going away from you......how much experience or knowledge booth has as a tactician or how he plans fights tactically i would say is questionable......yes at this stage of his career i dont believe he would beat either klitchkos,they would beat him yes ruin him no....

Yes but it might just be worth remembering holyfield was 46 years old in that fight !......i wont name drop like you did ....but needless to say,most people in the sport are making haye a favourite to win this fight..... Who ever said west ham are a big club ? not me....unlike deluded celtic/rangers fans us hammers are realistic enough to know that mid table premier league football is a good target for us.......if you was realistic you would realise championship football would be a good target for you with your current squads........ Going on past success in europe your probably right...but like i keep saying,based on the current rangers or celtic sides they are way behind.....as was recently proved against arsenal in europe....and whoever rangers played the other day i forget now.....not just the result but the easy manner in which they were defeated...... Yes but you could say that about leeds,forest,leyton orient.....any number of clubs ( as has been proved with little clubs like chelsea and man city ).....the difference is the old firm clubs are just not producing the quality of player,which ultimately lower league football all comes down to...........the ONLY thing that puts celtic and rangers on premier league level is their following/support.....thats why its a shame they are so far behind on the pitch.

Its all very well you scots going on about lack of money and foreign players in england etc etc........but the harsh reality is scotland are just not producing quality footballers anymore.........and you cant blame money or the english for that !...there was no more money than there is now in scottish football 10/20/30 years ago but you still produced quality players.......i think its a shame myself ,the england - scotland fixture was one of the great british annual sporting events.......it wouldnt even be a competetive fixture if it was still played today.

Throughout the 70,s ,s early 90,s all english teams had there share of very good scottish players....from dennis law to souness,dalgliesh,hansen,strachan,jordan,nicholas,archibald......Frank Mcavennie was idolised down at my west ham.....the list was endless..... who is there today,darren fletcher ? Footballs still football why aint they producing them anymore.....might be half the reason the game in scotland is suffering.

So why dont they then ? the proofs in the pudding mate......one reason they cant attract top english players is a top english player wants more than 4 competetive football matches per season !............like it or not mate scottish football is at an all time low......oh and where are these top class cottish born players playing....and what are their names ?.....scotland are just not producing top notch players anymore,why that is i dont know.

So you really think player for player the scottish national team compares to the english national team for individual quality ?.....theres foreigners playing in scotland as well mate just a lower class....for a lower class game obviously..... Rangers or Celtic in my opinion would be a low to mid table nationwide league team.....and the nationwide league is - 90 % english.....ask rangers or celtic if they would want rooney,terry,ferdinand,defoe and many many others......i think that would answer your question about good english players !... Id be happy to see celtic and rangers playing in england both having such a good following....but they would have to start off in our lowest league and to be honest i think they would do well to get in the nationwide league and are certainly not good enough to play in the english premier league. Its a shame and i cant understand it....look back a few years at the quality of scottish players coming down here to play...dalgliesh,souness,nicholas etc etc......who is there today ? nobody...i dont get it myself.......but the fact is the big 2 up there couldnt compete in the premier league down
