shea neary won the wbu title.....if we are counting the wbu i can probably add at least another 6/7 londoners to the list ! herol graham never won a world title.....and jim watt/ken buchanan were scottish !!....... this has gone from manc/liverpool.....to manc/liverpool and the north east.......to manc/liverpool the north east scotland......in fact anywhere north of watford ....and you still cant compete with london incidentally you forgot froch and clinton woods..... im even trying to help out myself

Why wigan....because the 2 lads i was originally having the debate with were from the manchester and liverpool areas.....manchester and liverpool being a similar sized area to london id say thats fair......but if you want to chuck the north east in as well thats fine......so world champions ?? Thats a fair point....but then if you want to just go by players instead of teams....then sorry but east london win hands down,in fact my west ham wins hands down half the england team either started off or made their name at west ham.....dafoe,lampard,carrick,johnson,james,ferdinand,cole x 2.....the list go,s on right back to paul ince !....even john terry is out of east london !....if it wasnt for west ham england would never have won the world cup for crying out loud Also west ham field week to week a higher number of english players than any other premier league team....not as many as b

Had a few northern lads doing some work at my home last week...had a bit of banter and debate about who has had more sporting success london or the north.....we went through 3 main sports Boxing.....undoubtedly London Cricket....not a fan myself,but conceded it to the North so the decider was footie..... We must have sent billions over the years to starving africans if they cant get it right by now then f**k em and anyone who looks like them. ill second that Its worth remembering this country gave 7.1 billion pounds in aid to foreign countries last year whether it be starving africans or what.....absolutely right charity begins at home....shame it takes a tragedy for that to be realised !!

It never ceases to amaze me how bitter the irsh/scots/welsh are towards us english when it comes to sport.....i remember following barry mcguigans fighting career,ken buchanan....even colin jones and being 100 % behind them....whenever the irish/scots/welsh have played in world cups ive been behind them....ryan giggs is one of my all time sporting heros...... Yet when the boots on the other foot it seems they all hate us english when it comes to sport...i just dont get it ! Was lucky enough to have good seats and was probably only 20 feet from hayes corner and every person within the same distance i was clearly heard haye say to adam booth " ive cracked my hand "...( exact words )...personally i dont think it was a break or crack but he did clearly hurt his hand....
