Weak people will resort to drugs....being in prison is no excuse for being a weak person or a junkie..... Its a well known fact that cat a nicks have far less drugs than open prisons for obvious reasons....as for what was said above about screws,one of the most decent and helpful people i ever met was a screw in wandsworth prison back in 95...he was also an ex worlds strongest man !!....In fact id go as far as to say ive never met a bad one although im sure they do exist.

As much as im pleased this march has gone and the organisation banned etc etc.....part of me thinks no bollocks,let them do what they want....we have been giving this country away for years and we deserve all the shit we get for it.....some of us were behind right wing parties from years back when it became obvious the country was heading for disaster.....but nobody wanted to listen......until now when its totally out of hand ! Yeah that rings a bell for the under 4 and tags etc.....you could well be right..... Not sure about the 1/2 for a longer sentance though im pretty sure not much has changed there.....and i know for a fact you wont get released on cat a......then again,im well out of all that shit these days so i couldnt really give a bollock ....criminals eh...shoot the lot of em i say ( from now on anyway )

Its only half the time on a sentance up to 4 years....that half is then normally reduced to around a third if you keep your nose clean and qualify for a tag meaning 2 years is more often that not 8-10 months..... However....10 years is likely to end up being 7/8....and nobody gets released as a cat a..... I dont believe foreign prisons are any worse than here if you,ve committed a serious crime....loss of freedom is loss of freedom.

at last !!...somneone speaking sense..... prison is supposed to be a loss of freedom,thats all,thats the punishment,..... lets see how many of these folk talking about holiday camps would have the mental strength to survive a few years as a cat a prisoner.....its easy to read the papers and repeat what you read.....but like with most other things....the real thing is often very different to what the papers make out. plenty of cat d prisons and yoi,s are working prisons,in other words your days pass quickly because you are working,often out in the fresh air.....i wouldnt call workin

So why is the argument for letting Gurkhas stay 'pathetic'? Its weak and pathetic because people like you think because a few foreigners helped us out once we should take in the worlds problems and solve them.... being an equal favour !! Same old weak pathetic argument.....if we want to f**k them off we should have the choice to,if we want to welcome them into our country we should have the choice to do that also.... As a nation we owe NOBODY NOTHING ....if we CHOOSE to help those who helped us then great favour for favour and all that,no problem.....that doesnt mean we have to be blindfolded and shafted by the whole of the worlds shit and take responsibilty for the worlds problems.......whats the point in being a powerful country if we have no power for fear of offending somebody !

I agree with this....as english people we cant piss and moan about " foreigners " not obeying our laws unless we are willing to do the same when we are the foreigners. I was in Dubai last year,i nearly got in a fight with a local when i had my feet up having a rest,apparently showing the soles of your feet is an insult over there.....well how was i supposed to know,but ok fair enough i didnt do it again and paid more attention to their ways....its called simple respect as visitors. Any " world champion " darts player aint a world champion darts player till he beats the best player who ever picked a dart up..... adams or chisnall wouldnt beat Phil Taylor in a month of sundays. Winning the bdo darts is the equivalent of winning the championship footie... It was a very sad xmas for both myself and many boxing fans in the London area as my old friend and great manager/trainer Terry Lawless died on xmas eve aged 76.He was very well liked and respected in the sport and was always known for his caring nature towards his fighters. On a personal note Terry had that big brother/uncle role right from when he first invited me into his gym in canning town in the late 70,s all the way up to his death i never made a big decision on sport or life without a little input from Terry and he will be sorely missed to the point where nothing has the same meaning

fair point....maybe david haye but not jenson button,it must go by the popularity of a sport as well,because lets face it,by rights phil taylor should win it every year !!!...he,s by far the most succesful sportsman this country has ever produced.....if you class darts as a sport that is,same with motor racing.

Im certainly no fan of man utd but always admired Giggs and glad to see his loyalty and talent rewarded. Very decent and humble fella the type of sportsman whos a rarity in these days of drama queen loudmouth stars... Has to go down as one of utd,s best ever players,certainly the most succesful trophy wise. He always gets a good reception when they come down to west ham even though he normally turns us over

Couldnt agree more.....but you really think they would show it on tv ? i have my doubts....i mean,look how long it took for someone to admit on tv what a disgrace crufts is !! Even if someone did do an " exposee " on the rspca....it would be hushed up and brushed under the carpet.....we only watch what they want us to watch.

Its not a matter of whether you have something to hide or not. They are a CHARITY with no rights whatsoever. EXACTLY Just my opinion, but by even entering into conversation with them you'll be giving them a recognition they don't have in law. Absolutely nothing to hide here, and nor do I believe do most of the people on here, all I ever try to do is point out to people that the rspc* have no legal right of entry, they do not hold any special powers and can be turned away as you would any one else who knocked on your door and demanded to see your animals. Like most situations you can make it as easy or as difficult as you like. If the lad has nothing to hide keep it simple and invite them in it will be all over in 5 minutes. If the lad has something to hide dont invite them in and get it sorted before they return.......but they WILL keep returning until they have seen the dog/s. For the sake of a curtain twitching neighbor why make it more complicated than it needs to be.

I dont and never will see amir khan as british so i dont have the venom towards him that others might...i just judge him as a boxer and as a boxer he is a fantastic talent....he fought an unbeaten number 1 ranked fighter and destroyed him,something our beloved ricky hatton never did as champion ! I think this is a risky fight for khan....its a tough first defence fighting an unbeaten young fighter rated number 1 in the division....fair play to him for not going the hatton/calzaghe route and looking for washed up big names ! Im looking forward to the kevin mitchell fight....kevins a local lad and a more honest genuine kid you could not meet....this is a big risk fight for him moving up in weight fighting a naturally bigger guy who can bang,mitchells not hard to hit but can take a good shot and has no quit in him at all.moving over to jimmy tibbs was a good move and i really hope he
