Went to Olu Deniz in Turkey years ago,lovely beech but not much else to praise....in fairness im told Gold City is the better part i just didnt know about it back then as i think its only become popular recently been a lot of developing there its near Alanya if im not wrong which is nice...Turkeys a cheap place in general,not the cleanest place and the people are none too friendly....but like i say Gold City is now the better part im told so you should have a nice time.

Never had a guard dog myself but in my opinion a " watch " dog has far more value than a " guard " dog.......very few potential burglars are going to break into a house with noise coming from it......a dog yapping its little heart out will stop most burglars coming in,a silent dog who will rip a burglars throat out is going to cost you at least the price of a window/lock/....prevention better than cure in my book.

For strapping to be any benefit it needs to be tight.....and being tight around the chest restricts breathing meaning its harder to take those deep breaths in i was on about.

Threatened with a 90 year old midget.....did you poo in your pants " computer world " i guess is like anything else you just have to learn how it works i used to think it worked the same as the real world until i realised the frustration of not being able to resolve situations is what drives some folk on ! I try not to get reeled in anymore I can just picture some 13 year old dry lunch drooling over sweet Heidi for a few days......arranging to meet outside Mcdonalds and some deranged bruiser turns up with a box of Quality Street ....good stuff.

Just a little word of advice Jasp.....its important to keep the lungs healthy when you break ribs....it probably hurts when you take in a deep breath....but you MUST make sure you do take them regardless of the pain....if you dont take those big deep breaths occasionally it can lead to a build up of mucous and moisture on the lungs,which can then lead to pneumonia ! I know its tempting to try not to but make sure you do Incidentally....up till about 20 years ago they did wrap the ribs they would use what was called a rib belt that went right around the chest..... Is it the one with the kid out of the pop band starring.....i forget his name now,saw it advertised on telly.... Must admit ive no real strong opinions either way but from reading this thread so far im inclined to agree with just about everything scothunter has said .... Just putting myself in that position if someone came into my house im not sure id have the arsehole to point a gun at him and shoot him as death is a bit of a strong price to pay for pinching the tv or stereo etc.....but id have no issues with doing them round the canister with a baseball bat ! He would probably laugh at it !...After all our problem is nothing compared to theirs,the fact that our gang culture is pretty much based on ,bloods crips and bad boys from the bronx etc etc,.. kids walking around with their jeans halfway down their legs because thats what americans do......maybe answers the question being asked ! This " lets be like americans " thing is wrong,the differences in attitudes between us and them is massive what works there wouldnt work here and vice versa.

Is there such thing as paying to tag along with a few folk hunting with birds,day out style....sorry if its a bit of a dopey question just im not a hardcore hunter like some and wouldnt have either the time,knowledge or patience to keep/train a bird etc.....but they fascinate me and id love to see them in action.... Is it the done thing or would i be better off trying to pay/bribe somebody to allow me to trot along with them
