It takes a good old East London boy to turn a football club around ....When Harry Redknapp went to Spurs they were bottom of the league,now they are 5th and in the quarter finals of the champions league.......hopefully they give him the England job before he,s too old to do it ! Hate to admit it but Spurs are playing some lovely football and can beat anyone on their night,especially at White hart Lane.

I dont understand Arsene Wenger....for years he has set his teams out to play the " beautiful game " and play fast attacking football.....so why did he go against his own principals and set out to park the bus against Barcelona....i thought he let himself and the club down. You say you are proud of your area.....but what exactly are you proud of ? its beauty,its culture,tradition etc etc ?....thats all well and good......but what if that area was then filled to the brim with people and cultures totally alien to what you know .....will you still have pride in your area and be proud to come from cornwall,a place you no longer recognise ? In all fairness your right,just because a man has a season ticket or even go,s to games dont make them any more a fan or any more knowledgable than the man who doesnt......myself i just love the game and love my club......and simply enjoy going to footie and footie talk thats all..... Id love to be a Man Utd or Liverpool supporter and follow my club around Europe watching world class players week in week out........but thats the price you pay for loyalty to your club and your area.

Thankyou sir,hopefully we can stay out of it,but i still doubt it somehow though im the eternal pessimist when it comes to the Hammers ....i wasnt disputing Utd are a great club by the way,just sometimes i think their fans can lose sight of just what a great club actually is....i firmly believe the 3 greatest clubs in England are Utd,Liverpool and Arsenal....and to be honest i wouldnt try to put one above the other.

Your just asking questions to suit your own argument mate.....we can all do that to try and big up our own club....i mean,i could ask you what its like to have some of Englands greatest players past and present come from the area where your club is ?...but you wouldnt know much about that and it would just be to suit my argument.....so i wont ask it ... Thats just the society we live in today,its become " trendy " to be accepting and all join together as one and say nothing bad about others,integration is forced down our throats daily.......it doesnt mean its right or ok.....but thats how society is being manipulated....for instance,can you imagine the uproar if a high profile person,lets say Wayne Rooney,came out and said he cant stand his neighbor because he is a smelly paki who he cant communicate with....he would be banned for life from sport and hated even more than he is now !!,yet in reality all he has done is tell the truth !..... 15/

If im not wrong Jennings scored when he played for Spurs.....the olduns always used to talk about Bert Trautman,Jack Kelsey......worldwide i supposed Dino Zoff and Sepp Mayer have to be up there.....or the german who nearly decapitated the french lad,i forget his name now,looked like a german porn star ! Thats your opinion and your entitled to it.....without doubt he must have been a pain in the arse to play against,but he wasnt a footballer just merely a stopper.....id even put David O Leary above Keown and he certainly wouldnt stand a chance in an Arsenal team today.....he was nowhere near the complete player the likes of Terry,Ferdinand,Vidic are....and no real threat up the other end like todays centre halfs are. Only saw the fight earlier today,Hattons a solid fighter but doesnt have that little something extra that sets world champions apart.Too one paced and not enough strings to his bow.....Alvarez just had that spark of extra talent and crispness of punch and reactions. Its a shame for Hatton but thats the dangers of riding on a name,you end up out of your depth....with that in mind he did ok and wasnt embarrassed and showed good willingness and desire to win so fair play to him.

Wow thats a tough question......off the top of my nut id go with Schmeichel Neville,Adams,Terry...Dicks Beckham,Keane,Scoles,Gerrard Ronaldo,Giggs subs Henry,Drogba,Bergkamp,Cole,Shearer....not sure how i could chuck these on the bench but with only 2 strikers........tough question....

For a film with such poor acting it was certainly a great little film....must admit i could never understand what they was on about half the time but its still the sort of film that at some stage rings a bell with most normal everyday men.....i wonder if they realised at the time people would still be talking about it and hold it in such high regard all these years later.

Thats the thing Jasp yous are blinded by your own success....plenty clubs have had periods of success but they are not hated for it....Arsenal dominated the 30,s,Spurs early 60,s,Liverpool 70,s/80,s etc......the only fans who hate them clubs are their rival clubs.....yet everyone seems to hate Man Utd......and like i say,not for the reason their fans think. Its like when us Hammers bang on about winning the world cup,we say it somewhat tongue in cheek....but you Utd fans,your serious...... No i dont buy that....people dont dislike the club because they are good they dislike the clubs supporters....and their attitudes because they are good..... Personally,i dont think your club is so good that they can play badly and win the premiership....if Barcelona couldnt do it Man Utd definately couldnt......i just think some fans are blinded by their own success.
