Yep its a fair comment and i wouldnt argue either way....that was THE most heartbreaking game ive ever been to simply because we was cruising that day and it was our first season back in the premiership ! All id say is the great players can read situations quicker and clearer than anyone,some players are just not on the same wavelength as players like Beckham and so certain things dont come off......i think if you asked most England followers they would say the same as me....maybe at club level you might be right,interesting anyway

The days of great commentators are gone....Reg Gutteridge,Harry Carpenter and another who people forget was Eammon Andrews..... brilliant commentators with bags of knowledge,entertaining and who could add to the atmosphere as well as the understanding of a fight.

With all due respect mate....Pele could only play as a striker,Bobby Moore could only play centre half......is Gerrard better than Pele or Bobby Moore..... Gerrard has been a fantastic player no doubt about it,but he,s a different type of player to Beckham.....Beckham can hurt teams with 1 simple pass,his reading of the game and decision making was far superior to Gerrard,can he run as fast,tackle as hard,no. At their peaks who would you choose to have in your side,id have Beckham each and every time.

Thing is mate Man Utd and Arsenal are great football clubs....Chelsea are not and never will be.....Abramavich started this buy success win now at all costs mentality and its come back to bite him in the arse,to keep up the success he bought he will forever be reaching further and further into his pocket.....and thats the trouble when the core of a club doesnt really know much about football.

I disagree.....theres a difference between an owner who wants to make a few quid on a profitable hobby/interest.....to an owner who wants to make money,pick the team,choose who to buy and generally do whatever he sees fit in a world he knows nothing about. Take my West Ham for instance ok we now have owners who own the majority of the club who are rich buisenesmen....but they dont have that kind of wealth and are certainly not billionaires,they are local boys done good,one of who played the game,who started with nothing in extreme poverty and has a genuine affection for their local club an
