Personally i wouldnt refer to my own as a working dog as i dont put specific work infront of him.....i live pretty much in the forest so he spends a lot of time after anything thats got fur on it mooching around etc all a bit hit and miss but its the athletic side i can appreciate with him......after all said and done if id wanted teeth in him id have got a pit bull and these are nowhere near pit bulls in my opinion.

You see with every respect,and i dont want to be rude.....but thats not an athletically bred Stafford....you cant just call dogs athletes because they jump over things or bite a hide attached to a springpole.....the dog has pretty much no muscle tone or condition.....dogs bred from sporting/working dogs have genetics that match their background and they show that in their physical structure....people think i condition my dog but i dont really he just gets good exercise and a good food bowl....he has a natural air and level of fitness that doesnt need a lot of work put into the dog to bring him

Again i just dont agree.....there are better Staffords in the Uk than probably anywhere else in Europe but you're not going to find them paraded down The Rose & Crown.....the types you are talking about being bred are shitty street Staffs bred by kids and idiots im talking about genuine working dogmen who have put their heart and souls into preserving some of these lines.......i was always a Pit Bull man myself and never really had much time for Staffords but im getting on a bit now and didnt want all the hassle that comes with Pit Bulls so got onto a few chaps i knew from Pit Bulls years

Possibly mate i dont know.....what i do know is their fans are absolutely gunning for the Jew to be gone,constantly.....its the number 1 chant going up in that ground apparently. Some ground that is mate i did the Skywalk thing and ground tour with a few pals last year ....unbelievable stadium and maybe like you say,players maybe get a little bit above themselves at that club....particularly when every fan in the ground already has a target of who's blood they want kind of takes the pressure off the players....who knows.

Wouldnt agree with you mate...yours looks a show type thats kept in decent nick thats all.......theres still plenty of authentic old time athletic Staffords around.....not bred for exaggerations and looks but bred for working and athletic ability which brings about a certain athletic " type " look on its own. The lines of working/athletic Staffords in the Uk are well known its no secret you dont need to go all the way to Holland to find a good example bred from reasonably straight bloodlines going back to the working dogs of England and Ireland......which most of those types over in Holla

Looks like a show type to me mate....they reckon a lot of these modern show types have Pug in them.....apart from build the eyes on that one certainly look Pug type.....no offence like if its your dog sure its a nice little thing.

Loathe as i am to admit it but dont you like watching Spurs play mate ?.....attacking,flowing high speed football ok it doesnt always come off but when it does its so refreshing to see its like they use that Son as a target man but without launching high balls at him i think they really use his speed and ability well..............well they was a few years ago anyway

I havent been watching enough top level footie to judge recently but i do think at lower and non league football even though theres still that desire to play out from the back its not absolutely vital......i imagine where players dont have the same confidence in their own ability they are more willing to go long when in doubt , and i think thats good......at top pro level its seen as a bit 2 bob to " hoof it " and as we see players end up getting themself in trouble whereas there isnt that same pressure to do that at non league.......that game at Orient last week they didnt try to match City

Im no tactician so i'll bow to knowledge above my own but i also think a lot of it is simply to do with better conditions both pitches and physical fitness......how often at that level do you see some tubby fat boy playing full back nowadays like you did years ago,almost never......these lads are fit and committed athletes nowadays,most are on a reasonable wage at that level so willing to put more in fitness/diet wise. Like you say players playing out from the back.....that was almost impossible years ago on shitty bumpy or bogged down pitches where players at that level just wasnt willin

Yeah i think its that coconut stuff they use on their hair/skin makes me f****n heave ....combined with hair like a brillo pad,hands that are different colours top to bottom,lips like sausages and various other " differences "......they just aint a bit of me at all.....but each to their own and all that.

And i think that applies throughout the leagues as well i watch players at tier 7 and 8 who are far superior technical players on the ball than would have played at the same level years ago....also,fitter/stronger......better pitches etc All amounts to a far higher level of football throughout the game in my opinion......theres a big element of nostalgia in sport we all like what we grew up watching as they were our most impressionable years as men......but it doesnt mean it was " better "

Exactly each to their own....i have a bit of a thing for Latino's and South Americans but cant go near Africans or even any kind of black but thats not to say some of them are not very attractive female specimens....just not attractive sexually.
