    Much as i agree i do think part of it is down to a lack of trust i sent a couple of young lads i know to help an old boy out the other week and he threatened to phone the police ?...it took them 10 minutes to make him understand the whole mutual friend thing....similarly i stopped to help a young lady with car trouble not that long ago she politely told me to go away in a " you could be anyone " kind of way.....theres just no trust in communities anymore sadly.

    Rehydration clauses are one thing but this wasnt even a clause with check weights and so on....24 hours is normal but they managed to stretch that to 32 hours....and then on the day of the weigh in actually weighed in 4 hours earlier than scheduled making it 36 hours !.....by the time Haney got to the ring he was a middleweight....lets see how he would of fared against Marvin Hagler !!!...its spoiling the game....ive said for as long as i can remember get fighters weighed in before the fight in the ring itself if you really want fair contests.

    Mental health isnt something most of us can really understand we just try and wing it as best we can,a good friend of mine has suffered with panic/anxiety for as long as i can remember without any actual diagnosis,over a short period he just works himself up into a state about things,mostly health related.....i used to get annoyed with him but have realised over the years that just adds to his anxiety and nowadays just try and get him out for a nice long countryside walk which often seems to ease him a bit ...this is a chap ive seen hold strong in some very unpleasant situations so to watch hi

    While the basic ingredients to liquor are pretty much the same ive never been able to get the exact details out of any of the main shops i can tell a Manzes liquor from a Cookes and so on but ask them exact ingredients and its like you've asked them for their pin number !....each shop has their own take on it,i quite like that tradition.

    That the other night was the best and most enjoyable time i/we have ever had following The Hammers but in terms of sporting achievement no of course not winning the FA Cup from the second division was above just about anything we could realistically achieve today,but i was just a scrappy little teenage herbert without a pot to piss in at the time so the celebrations were somewhat limited to what we could afford back then ?

    Thats a funny one....i love local dialect and the different accents around the country but i dont go up to Derby and start calling people " duck " or giving it all that " wey aye man " caper up in Newcastle....the amount of times ive been to country places and had some div start coming all " apples and pears " at me....why ?....it seems the more rural the area the more Cockney they try to be around Londoners its f****n sickly !

    Ive always thought most of them " ultras " from different European nations are just impressionable youngsters who watched too much Football Factory/Green Street etc....hence a club like mine are seen as the Holy Grail to them....its quite funny in a way.

    West Ham fans in town all day and not a murmur until wives/families get attacked by " ultras " at the game itself.....embarrassing !!     Well what do you know !.......sometimes i wonder if its all worth it,the miles i/we travel,the time away from home,the shit performances and disappointments,they send us to breaking point most weeks but that the other night was without doubt the single greatest night of my football following life.....i dont give a shit that its " only " the Europa Conference,its a European final that most clubs dont reach and after over 40 years supporting the club im making the absolute most of it....COYI !!

    Well here we go all or nothing tomorrow night.....we're leaving this evening decided to drive over to Holland thats going to be a laugh we're staying in a place called Haarlem just outside Amsterdam and coming back over the weekend some time it will probably depend how the game go's ?     Having been around a good number of Pit Bulls many of them superb examples of the breed,ive never met one i would trust around children.....its an absolute nonsense in my mind to put such a sporting dog into a pet home as there are simply other dogs that are better equipped.....what does the APBT offer as a pet dog that other dogs cant do ?.....this is the problem breed enthusiasts such as myself have a hard time with.....people get a dog bred from fighting lineage,turn it into a sweet natured loving pet,and then call it a " good dog " when its never had a tooth in it....ok we live in differen

    Im not hard mate,im turning soft as shite the older i get.....and my few years as a bouncer was long before the soppy badges and squeaky clean records " doormen " now need came about or id never have been offered the job. Id disagree theres still plenty of hardy characters about they're just not needed in the same way as when we was young.....not sure what jumping into cold water has to do with any of it mind you !
