Probably mate yes,he tagged me a couple of times after that but nothing serious.... i do think he was one of those dogs that actually wanted to drag you away in a corner and eat you......thankfully they were few and far between !

Thats a brilliant shout that is mate.....what a match up,ive spoken to a lot of people about this over the years......it would have been an absolutely brutal affair for sure and putting era's/conditioning etc aside i think like was touched on earlier Joe's work rate,determination and willingness to go to dark places would of probably seen him outlast the Rock.......whats your view ? or anyone elses.

They were just strange performances from Frazier for me its almost like possibly the gamest man to ever enter the ring was intimidated by Foreman......not to say he wasnt game as the bagel as he didnt quit in either but he just seemed to enter the ring,move around the ring,and then eventually leave the ring with an acceptance of defeat that i never saw in any other fight he had.....im not much of a book reader so dont know all the stories etc but always wondered if anything ever came out about maybe things going on outside the ring for him at the time,or just excuses in general really........i

Its the sort of fight you leave a bit of yourself behind in my opinion.....for me neither man ever boxed at the same level again.

No it hasnt always been like this.....you can defend him all you like but Fury is fighting a no hoper when he could be fighting a competitive fight....one of the lads fighting on the undercard is David Adeleye....he is bigger than Ngannu,a better fighter than Ngannu,and more experienced than Ngannu.......he is not rated in the top 60 in the world yet would be a far more dangerous fight for Fury than Ngannu.......let that sink in and then try to defend Fury....its just a silly conversation to have.

Been saying the same for years.....theres a reason its difficult for a 19 year old lad to insure a Ferrari !....ok some young lads will keep their silly dogs regardless and risk having no insurance but it will put some off if the insurance costs more than the dog.

You say that but i was always happier around an out and out man biter than those unpredictable dogs who will let you run your hands over them one minute and try to take your arm off the next......you know where you stand with full on manny dogs and can take the measures needed but unpredictable dogs are the absolute worst as you're sucked into giving them a little trust if when they hit the end of their chain they dont growl at you for a few days in a row

Just killing a bit of time on these long hot days....what did you make of the Foreman v Frazier fights mate just out of interest ?.....2 very strange fights for me that ive never quite been able to put my finger on as regards how they played out.

The only real link i can make to Mr Charts point is in relation to the f****n idiots who breed dogs from high drive,high pain theshold,super reactive and determined on one side with an aggressive guarding instinct on the other......and then think it would be a good idea to put them in a family environment.

If the dog runs up and bites a childs face off yes of course its the dogs fault.....thats the thing mate we can take all the precautions in the world it wont stop a bad dog being a bad dog at any given opportunity.....yes you'll blame the owner for not securing the dog but it doesnt take any blame away from the dog some just aint wired up right. Obviously your lion point is tongue in cheek but wild animals cant be blamed for acting like wild animals but domesticated dogs can certainly be blamed for acting like wild animals.

I get what you're saying re training/socialising etc and agree...but i disagree about whether its a working dog or pet....it makes no difference in my opinion a dog born bad is bad regardless and no amount of time/care or dog whisperer nonsense will ever get that dog right. I was around a few dogs years ago that even though they were top sporting dogs they were also the most predatory unforgiving animals ive ever come across......but as you kind of allude to,they were in experienced hands and not " fad " dogs.
