I think its brilliant that old footie rivalries can be put aside for things like this ive been on a few of these and seen old faces you wouldnt walk past in a peaceful way at any other time.....it puts all the old fighting on the terraces shit into perspective and if we're going to talk all this patriotic/nationalist talk the way we do then we cant hide away from these types of opportunities......people cant just fall away,all the talk you hear over the years people saying things like " with half a dozen phone calls i can pull 60/70 bods together " well now is the time to do it !

I dont think we're a difficult side to read theres nothing complicated going on Moyse wants a solid defensive unit with enough pace and precision to hit sides on the break and his team is built around and for that purpose....when sides sit off us we struggle. As an extreme example just to make the point, nobody could have taken over the Dave Basset " Crazy Gang " side and made them into a flair team with silky skills he built and selected the players he did for a reason and it was very effective.....but probably would have got nowhere playing under Fergie or Wenger say. It was always going to be a case of Ngannou having to knock him out to get a draw boxing just couldnt allow itself to be humiliated like that which for me is the reason it should never have been sanctioned....if you can get away with corruption great but dont invite it ffs !

To your average person who doesnt really know what they are looking at arm wrestling isnt much of a spectator sport.......whereas this slapping nonsense has drama written all over it......arm wrestling was tried out as a demonstration sport at i think it was the 96 Olympics but didnt catch on.....no its doing fine exactly where it is as far as im concerned i dont want it to become too popular there are huge matches going on and athletes are getting nicely paid and well respected within the arm wrestling community worldwide....and thats good enough for most.
