A friend of mine got diagnosed with prostate cancer last year so i did a bit of research on it they reckon 80% of men over the age of 75 die with ( not necessarily of ) prostate cancer.....my pal is having what they call " active surveillance " so has his psa checked regularly, as long as the cancer stays within the prostate itself he'll need no treatment....its a lot more common they we think.

I think you chaps are being a bit harsh......keeping in mind City paid 45 mill for him are we to assume they dont know what they're looking at,theres no chance of a permanent signing remember......just because a player cant get into probably the greatest side in world football at the moment doesnt mean he aint up to much and doesnt mean he couldnt do a job or be a good fit for my little Hammers.
-
Its a cracking little ground and a nice club,it was a sharp little learning curve for a few of us when silly bollocks was there as it became clear to anyone around the club probably fans as well that just hurling money at it just isnt the way to run a football club.....he just wouldnt take advice and wanted to do everything himself when he just had no idea of the mentality of sports people ( and why would he having never been a sportsman ).....bringing in old ex pros on 3 grand a week not only belittles young talented players but gives those ex pros a nice little armchair to hold up in while d

Thankyou squire.......in any sport young prospects have always interested me more than elite level, the thought of the next Ian Wright,Jamie Vardy....Bowen/Antonio down the Hammers who were all discovered playing at this level really excites me......and as you say the passion and desire both on the pitch and in the stands is a nice reminder of what most of us originally fell in love with about sport.

Strange couple of games for the Hammers i thought we played quite well in patches yesterday against United and got trounced yet our performance against Bournemouth was just about our worst of the season and we nicked a draw....certainly missing a few players,Paqueta's creativeness in particular......also i think Moyes made a ricket starting Philips against Bournemouth he was nowhere near match fit and the mistake probably knocked the lads confidence being his debut, poor management that was i thought.

How do you know what sort of shape he was in ?......its glaringly obvious to me that he wasnt in as good shape as he'd liked to have been in or he wouldnt of been hard sparring 2 weeks out from the biggest fight of his life......most fighters with a 10 week camp behind them will be tapering down 3 weeks out body sparring at most......thats not to say the cut is faked or anything is untoward but it certainly wont hurt Fury to have the fight put back and he knows it......if his camp had all been on course and timings were right then the reality is that sparring partner would never get work again
-
I think Azeez went into sparring mentality.....when you've sparred someone as much as them two lads have sparred each other its hard to get out of the pattern that your spars take.....its a good competitive division some good fights to be made there.

Right ok gotcha .....i know with a stent they like to have you semi awake so they can communicate with you.....yes its only a tiny wire but its an area thats not meant to be messed with hence bruising etc....wish you the best mate.

If im not wrong Jaywick is officially the most deprived area in Uk.....once upon a time it was seen as cheap land for a country/coastal retreat a lot of the old Dagenham Ford workers developed it using packing materials to build the chalets etc, hence most of the street names are car related.....years ago i had a few properties along that coast but got rid of them lively when i heard it was going to become a landscape for London overspill.....nowadays it resembles a cross between The Bronx and Beirut ! What an absolute state the geezer, how long is it going to take societies to accept this

Was you kept awake during that Waltjnr, just sedation ?

Im inclined to agree.....nothing can be done about a cut he wouldnt get cleared by the doc this close to a fight, but there just seems too many coincidences throughout Furys career to keep giving him the benefit of the doubt he's ruined the division pretty much single handed the rest should just give him a wide berth now i cant imagine too many promoters will want to be around him. Anyway never mind all that....really looking forward to the Buatsi - Azeez contest tomorrow, good domestic dust up im hoping for a Dan Azeez win as he's a good lad with an interesting style....but think Buatsi mi

f**k me what planet are some people living on if survival ever becomes a real issue i think i'll let someone else do the prepping and take my chances with good old fashioned brute force.

Do you not have to get the birds out of the area with them smoke tablet things ?......you're not gonna want that with nesting birds surely. Looks a nice little environment that but as Bangers said natural light could be an issue with Goldies ? unlike like Canaries i found the Goldies hard work to breed myself, best of luck with it though.

Its only Isthmian League mate,i have a few other business interests in the area so just made sense as a lifelong footie nut to get involved with the club....the biggest risk to non league clubs is being purchased and then run into the ground as little more than a land grab for housing developments, particularly in this area where land/property is expensive.....the Fa offer no protection below tier 6 so a clubs legal affairs have to be in order we recently got an " Asset of Community Value " order on the ground which i think is essential for the stability of the club/staff etc These leagues

As you know mate very few Hammers fans over the age of about 30 would ever dream of booking ourselves anything other than a little local club with a good following....its only these new young lot ( and you ) that ever wanted to be a big club

Thats the " A Place in the Sun " fella is it not.... he seemed a nice person i remember reading he'd been given only a few years to live, shame that.
-
" Ladders " you mean .....think he's around 6 ft 7....he'd be at 8 ft 7 if he ever decided to jump ! He's a good lad Brian started off at Grays as a kid, been a good servant to non league footie in this area.....its not bad though is it mate, pitches could be better though saying that our ground is one of the better ones....i dont get involved in anything coaching wise what do i know but yes its a style of football most clubs at this level play and makes for good competitive entertainment.
-
Think the lad just wants regular football at this stage of his career.....or maybe he just wanted to get a game for a big club eh !
-
Pretty good mate thanks nice little away win last night we're sitting at 9th with a couple of games in hand but playing the top two clubs pretty much back to back so might be a tricky few weeks coming up.....all good though, enjoyable, refreshing that kind of thing i'll pm you.

Got a couple of Wolves pals who was there apparently it was the usual stuff these days away fans in home parts of the ground, hence it was after a goal that it kicked off.

What a nice kid this Kalvin Philips, think he'll do well for us i said at the time he'd be a good replacement for Rice.....different but same, that linking things up from back to front is the only really noticeable thing we've missed about Declan for me.
