Yeah thats another one that grates on me what happened to " give him a bell " " i reached out to him " f**k right off !!
-
Maybe your right i dont know.....i just find it one of lifes " pet hates " hearing all these trendy new ways of saying old things......things like....." you got this "
-
Yep all the science makes sense.....again,im just too much of a broken hearted little pussy hidng away from real life to put it into practise even though its common sense..... its just easier in this other world at the moment.

Oh sorry mate i was thinking your old club was Grays .....no i remember you telling me about your clubs ownership issues now thats right....from the little experience ive seen of footie and the staff in clubs at this level theres quite a lot of friction between old boys who want to play the game and run the club " like the old days " and modern new approaches.....almost like everythings at a crossroads and getting a balance of both isnt easy, whereas the players just want to play football......i dont think these little battles between old and modern do anyone any favours as clubs try to progres

He certainly couldnt play in the modern game as him and his brother were both at least half alcoholics even back then when he was at his best....and Tony his brother was his agent and financial advisor f**k me what a mess !....but yes the Rangers fans loved him when he went up there.......the Old Den at Millwall was an intimidating place at the best of times but wasnt helped by the Hurlock terrace chant of " Terry's gonna getcha "

I havent been going to any games mate but get updated on the basics, terrible turn out last month we had a young lad in the under 18's died on the pitch.....shocking really he'd gone in for a tackle, collapsed and died there and then.....the club decided to give the next games gate receipts to his family and we got 500 odd extra fans to what we'd normally get which i thought for a 2 bob shit area was a nice community type thing. Apart from that we had a good December won every game and moved up to 3rd in the league, bashed your old mob 4 nil a few days before Xmas .....but then lost 3 nil at

John Docherty who sadly died last month was the only Millwall manager ever to get them into top flight football, which was the then old First Division....my old mucker Terry Hurlock who was the hard man player of his day was playing for them he said Johns team talk was basically " right you Hurlock, get the ball and give it to someone with the same colour shirt on,thats it " .....which i always thought was a bit harsh as Terry could play a bit in fairness.

Anyway Come on you Daggers tomorrow night......batter them Millwall shlaaaags !

" Harry Potter....he's coming for you " Good player would of liked him back at the Hammers

But thats the whole point though mate.....we all know what offside, time, man on etc means....theres no reason to invent a new way of saying it, the same as theres no reason to invent a new way of saying interception thats now called a " turnover " or got possession back instead of " recycling " and on and on.......come on mate you must admit everyday bods like us wasnt using these terms 30/20/even 10 years ago......its modern coaches and tv pundits that have put these new terms up for use in the same way that modern players now put their 2 index fingers to the sky when they score a goal,or touc

Ive just twigged who you are we chatted about this breed before i got my lad didnt we....well i appreciate the advice you gave, like i say the right dog at the right stage of life.....obliged to you mate look after yourself also.

Brilliant !....smart looker as well. He's probably the first genuine " pet " dog ive ever had its quite an eye opener the rewards you get from the friendship a dog offers i feel like ive either missed out or am really getting old
-
Bless you mate thanks....its just simple grieving of somebody close,a thing i suppose we all have to do at some point im just a big girls blouse.....cheers again, will keep your words in mind.

He's the first Stafford ive ever had and turned out a nice little dog really....years ago i was only ever about the performance of a dog i was no good at bonding with them but am really attached to this little fella he loves a bit of rough and tumble but when he senses im down he'll come and rest his chin on my leg and we'll just " knock about " together for days on end he's a sweet natured loving little chap but a bundle of energy at the right times as well......i probably keep him fitter than he really needs to be but living pretty much in the forest he keeps himself in good nick he's got a

Sorry to hear that mate i think we probably all find things out about ourselves through lifes journey, suppose im only just now finding out im not as tough as i thought i was. My logic is that having lived a fit healthy life up until recently i can probably get away with going hard at the drink through a particularly bad time.... probably just a weak man making excuses for being a prick but it dont seem all that important anymore truth be told.....ta mate anyway

Whats Jack Wilshere doing on a choo choo train Good lads.....i cant face going to games yet im just about trying to take an interest again ....but yeah it seems we've become another one of them clubs sadly.
-
He was definitely past his best but Hagler had 3 fights in 3 years through 85/86/87 i think he was the same fighter in all of them he was passed his best in 85 against Hearns but it was his kind of fight,as was the Mugabe fight....short range wars were perfect for him late on in his career......it just wasnt his kind of fight against Leonard....Leonard just knew how to beat him he wasnt going to stand in front of him like Hearns and Mugabe had and he made Hagler look terrible, old and slow......but for me it was the same Hagler as Hearns fought 2 years earlier.....like i say Leonard had a nasty

We've got some good young kids coming through George Earthy,Kaelan Casey,Callum Marshall, the kid Briggs i forget his first name this young squad is the best youth squad we've had since the Cole,Ferdinand,Carrick etc days it would be a shame to see them all get loaned out because the manager is too scared to throw them in and as you say it is something Potter has done before so hopefully we can start getting a bit of our old identity back now we've accepted we're not going to be pressing for trophies as we hoped we would !
-
Bad time in general mate ale just seems to numb the pain during this whole grieving process but i think i know what im doing ....hope you are keeping well anyway.

Many Muslim communities particularly Pakistanis vote " en masse " if you have the local Imam's vote then you have pretty much the entire community.....how its never been illegal is a disgrace but thats Labour controlled areas for you.
-
I always felt that Leonard had a nasty streak to him,a pompous belittling kind of thing where he knew he could beat Hagler but waited until people felt it was impossible for him to do so....similar to when he went up to " light heavy " but set the weight at 168 to beat the Canadian and nearly came unstuck he just had an air of superior " im Ray Leonard i can do what i like " about him.
-
Im quite happy with Potter i think he's a good fit for the direction we should be going in.....Floppy was a disastrous appointment from day 1 he was brought in to supposedly take us to the next level after Moyse brought 3 years of European football, high placed league finishes and stability to the club.....but all we've had is shit side to side football with no end product averaging barely a goal a game and a lower win rate than Avram Grant ffs.....ok he was undone by players with a low work rate, defensive errors ( mainly the Greek ) and poor finishing....but he's still just a Spanish version o
-
Although you are right to a point i dont think theres ever a good time to have your first bout at a heavier weight having been out of the ring for 3 years facing the most dominant world champion in years.......but that was the confidence and arrogance of Leonard as a fighter.

All a bit depressing really but ive found this my solemn place of comfort over the last 6 months....i used to be the type who hated being on my own and always wanted people around but now i just cant wait to get to my little bench, sit and just let the hours go by with my 4 legged pal until im falling about pissed and the ol woman has to come and pick us up Proper sad case im turning into !
