    so you get the dog off first with your stick then sort the quarry out,you see i couldent do that,as soon as i got my dog off, quarry would be up and off ,and if it didnt i could not keep hold of the dog with one hand and kill some thing large with the other hand,how do u manage to do it,

    you all keen on saying on here that a terrier should be worker to worker,which i agree with,so can anyone on here name the man and his terrier that done the most damage to the fell terrier its a long time ago ,they still keep terriers well his familly do won a show last week terriers have never worked.cumbria

    you will just have to keep trying them to get your answer,they can be good terriers i have had a really good border but that was twenty years ago he was a strong terrier,there are some oxcroft borders near me and they look a bit frail to me,but years ago i was told j price prefered his black and white terriers for digging,so that says a lot for the oxcroft type

    the way i see it is some people think the bull cross gives them an image boost and lie and exagerate about there dogs ability,itseems to be the most pedled and passed about type of lurcher at the minute.

    And ye gonna tell me next ye coursed red deer regular in the day on ye permission next aint ye no three times no permision, and only sucessful once,very hard work aswell Stag or a hind ? how many dogs ye have on it ? failed at two attempts to get a stag managed a hind,still a struggle the dogs were a minshaw cross and a three quarter greyhound collie,this was over a two year period as we didnt have reds in our valley often,but we do seem to have a resident herd at all times now
