Work for an aero engine manufacturer, its rumored they will announce tomorrow that they are dropping us off shifts, f*cking shithouses are always on the news about latest deals worth hundreds of millions not so quick on the news when its lads going down the road or knocking off shifts.

Personally I would'nt let them in my house or on my yard without a warrant and police just on principle. Remember these people want to see everything we do and enjoy banned. Just my honest opinion. Cheers

Been determined to get a pike on the fly for a few months now and just got my first one today. Was about 5 pound but felt as strong as a bull on the fly rod. Got it on a big yellow streamer in a spot on the river Derwent where i often go spinning. Gonna try for a barbel on the fly next season, seen a video of it and looked fantastic. Anyone had a barbel that way? If so which fly did it take? Cheers

Went out this morning for a few hours to the same farm as last. Went out much earlier today and set the hide up in a much better covered spot. Last time I noticed the (few) pigeons i saw were all going the same way diagonally across this field so set up right there. Also i put my decoys much further out than last. Well, I got three pigeons and one crow and missed quite a few yep i know thats feck all but i was proper pleased to at least get off the mark. I was using my new gun today, a Browning semi; found it quite strange to be looking down one barrel (never shot one before) also found it a

Went out pigeon decoying (well that was the idea anyway!) yesterday for the first time on a new permission near Burton Upon Trent. The fields we were shooting over were on a hill and we started off on the first field near the bottom. Stayed there about three hours but saw feck all pigeons, quite a few crows though. So we moved up to the next field more on the top of the hill. Stayed another three hours or so but exactly the same, still just crows. So we packed up at that. I think I'll go back to the same place next have another go. Do you reckon it's better to go at the top of the hill or bott

And don't forget it was'nt that long ago Barrera put up a quality performance against Mani Paqciao (spelling?). I reckon Barrera will win if he's even half the fighter he was when he fought Morales and Juan Manuel Marquez. JMHO cheers
