    Both my 4 month old ferrets have bolted a couple of rabbits each but this was in a 3 hole warran. There still a little to playfull to start doing Serious hunting.

    Just a update Went to check the trap this morning and there was another in there this one is very dark. ( I would upload a photo if I know how ). This one was also a hob. So I've reset the trap and ill see what I get tomorow

    How much do these boxes weight and would these hold 4 ferrets

    Normally I give my four ferrets a whole rabbit and they'll eat it within two days. But have also fed them Pheasants, Guineafowl Pigeon And chicken.

    They can survive fine they kill rabbits the same as if you were there ferreting them. I wouldn't eat one if I was a fox. If any thing is going to kill them I'd say roads and traffic.

    Haha if you heard the noice it was making you'd never put your hands near it and if you would your braver than me. I'm pritty sure it was a ferret. Without trying to sound stupid are the wild polecats in the uk. I always thorght they lived in lower Europe

    I'm in Beer Devon and I'm always hearing people are seeing dead ferrets on the road. But this is the first live one.

    Yea I reset the trap just in case but I cant see there been more than one ferret about. And I really don't wanna shoot another.

    My grandparents keep chickens And I had a problem with something killing them So I put down a mink trap Baited with a rabbit. I went to check the track this morning And had a Bloody Huge ferret Trapped inside. Thinking it might have been Lost by someone I bent down to have a look. So my Ferrets hiss Every so often I've never heard them Make such a noise. Sounded more like Dog barking than a ferret. Sure Made me Jump Back. You could tell he'd been wild a long time and wasn't ever going to be hand able. So had to have him shot. We all thorght it was going to be a mink not a ferret as

    Is it hard to learn how to make purse nets. What tools would I need to buy. Is it actually Cheaper to build your own net instead of buying them.

    So I got up nice and early got to my Favourite place. seems this year there's no rabbits in any holes bit of a let down. Finished my day with just 7 rabbit. On the upside both of my 4 month old Jill's bolted rabbits and where right on the heals as they bolted.

    So been on the bay looking 393 collar battery's seems you can get 30 for £3 or 2 for £5. So what's the best battery's to buy obversely the cheap ones ate going to be rubbish

    At a minimum purse nets a box and a spade. You don't have to use a ferret finder but they are handy

    I'm looking for a slip leads but don't no much about them. Does any body on here make them, or can any body recommend one.

    Strange question any body no if the Littel red light on the clubman charger should be on when charging as mines not and its been on charger for 24 hours and died after 10 mins on a battery that has only been used twice.

    Hi so I have saluki cross lurcher and I think her claws may be a bit long. I bourght some clippers but I'm not sure how much to take of, don't want to hurt her

    How many months do u recommend leavening kits to start hunting. Mines 4 months and very playfull was going to try them in a couple of weeks as there very interested in the whole rabbits I feed them.

    Your best to slowly pick him up. My first ferrets where like that. If u grab him they can get scared and will end up taking even longer to get out. If you really can't get him out place a rabbit in front of him. But make sure you are holding on to it you don't want to give him food that he can take back down the hole.
