    My dogs will get the same excersize during the summer as they do during the hunting season,but come the season they get that extra bit fitter from their nights or days out working

    A man that has bred a couple of litters from proper dogs that made the grade for what they where bred for,would be better than either of them,Just because someone can knock out a couple of thousand dogs ,with the law of averages some are bound to be decent. there are men out there that has bred fox lurchers ,lamping lurchers,and even some bred for ferreting,not bred for profit but bred to be the best at what they do.

    These racing lurchers are becoming more popular than ever over,with people taken it so serious there needs to be rules and codes of conduct put in place ,like greyhound racing these dogs should be graded ,any "lurcher" with any more than 3/4 greyhound in it in my opinion is not bred for a working purpose it is simply bred for racing,how many times can greyhound blood be put into a line before it becomes basically a greyhound.Subs should be payed and the founds going into blood testing dogs and any dogs found to be full bred the owner takes on the bill.     i know a couple of lads that have sparred with Katie ,and they would tell you she is as good if not better than most blokes in her weight class,and that display of boxing her and Natasha Jonas showed today was brilliant ,it should of been for the gold,they where the 2 best boxer in it,but unlucky how the draw went

    I am off it a year to the day tomorrow,when i smoked it the first thing i done in the morning was have the half of joint i put out before i went to bed,when i walked the dogs i would roll 4 just to keep me company i would say,when if i didn't have a least enough for a good few joints i was panicing thinking where will i get more,cost over 100 euro a week ,i often had a joint went out to clean the pens,stood there looking at them for 20 minutes and said ,fcuk that i will do it later,so one day i went down to me ma's in the arsehole of Kildare with enough for a few joints went the doctor,got a f

    Thanks lads,having her down in the stables for a couple of years has made it that little bit easier,she more or less became the woman that owns the yard's dog during her retirement and the kids have lost that attachment with her ,which is the hardest part for me ,when my boys feel lose,more so than my self but i have a 13 year old staff x here that is really coming to the end now aswell ,not half as bad as blackie but cant really handle being out walking in the heat anymore and i have reared him from day one when his dam died in the vets under the anesthetic having a cesarean section and he h

    A dog ,that you know when he is put to work you get the result you where looking for,I would love a dog that can be dug every day without being in the sick bay ,some dogs style of work can be like that but you will some times get a day that the quarry is willing to put it to the dog, so a dog that can take a bit of stick but but clever enough not to waste it's time(or should i say my time) banging into stuff if it doesn't need to

    Thanks everyone,she will be brought up to my house tomorrow a bit of a walk around the fields she was walked in for years,and then she will walk the green mile,with a trip to the vet s.e.s.k.u if you could see her feet ,she has not got one toe that wasn't broke at some stage

    My mate had her at a vet yesterday and she said ,she is not in pain or anything but her eyesight is going and she is losing all her muscle mass,she reckoned shehas a while left but when i seen her today,(i haven't been down the stables in a few weeks,i put my philly out on grass)i decided i would rather do it now before she does start feeling any pain.

    We had some great times with this bitch ,she properly thought us more about hunting than we could teach her,she was a great bitch for bringing on a pup ,instead of picking rabbits she would actually push them into the young dogs but if the pup did not make use of it she would pick it before it made the cover

    this is Blackie a 1st x collie greyhound bitch,she is 16 now but really showing her age now,we did have her in the stables ,where she slept in a wooden shed along with 8 hens,but the shed was set on fire during the week by some little scumbags but thankfully they let the bitch and the hens out first.     Ask Mr scent and lurcher 330. Both have / had some quality collie / grey fox dogs. they where my 2 3/4 collie greys,the bitch had to be pts but i still have the dog and at 10 years old he will still knock over what is put infront of him

    The ward union hunt had a licence to hunt deer,and all they had to do to stop it was not grant them their next licence.So all they would have to do to stop hunting and make it completely illegal is to refuse licences which would be much easier than bringing a ban into place

    If you are happy with your dog no matter what other people think ,it is a good one,you get some people on here complaining about doubling up on fox but if a couple of lads are out for a nights lamping rabbits with their dogs and they are not single handed fox dogs but they knock over a few foxes doubled up fair dues to them,(in Ireland)it's up to yourself what standard of dog you keep ,you feed it you exercise it and you work it ,so why should anyone else care
