    so are you saying that the lurcher that won in the final should not have and you are saying that the ballinlough had bad judges but you said that the mourne show was well run but the man that ran the mourne show judged the lurchers in ballinlough

    i would never put a dog that i did not think was 100% over any bitch but i have put good dogs over an average bitch and they turned out decent enough

    i have3 tick ropes with large knots in them tied around the pen that she jumps up and hangs out off it keeps her occupied for a while but she soon moves on to her next thing to try and destroy.

    easy init bones are a no no because she is in the pen with other dogs which will cause fighting and she gets out twice a day the same as the rest of them i know it is only a temporary while she is teething but she is not only chewing on the box she is eating it as well and im afraid of her causing damage in side her

    she is out twice a day mate for a least an hour each time and sometimes my son takes her out for a walk aswell .she's a ball of energy but i suppose thats a good trait

    i got a man to build me 2 large boxes with a divider in the middle to split them into 2 she has ate a hole in the middle one of the boxes a perfect circle that you would not of been able to cut with a skill saw but i am going to get more build and get the angle iron on the edges but i will wait until she has all her new teeth and she is not chewing as much.thanks mate

    told a few lads in Dublin with the strong dogs they said they would like to have ago at the weight pulling so i will try and bring them along

    There would have been no more terriers present no matter who was judging, terriers are falling away at all the shows. And another thing you've got to remember Toasty, nobody makes you go to these shows, it's a voluntary act. I am all for people having opinions, but to launch personal attacks on both the judge and the organiser on a public forum is just showing the bad sport you are. How many times has it been said on this and other forums, you cannot, no matter who you are, judge a dog's working ability in a show ring.     my 6 month old patterdale pup has started eating the kennels in the last few weeks i think she has a touch of beaver in her make up and she will not leave any bedding in the box either and when she pulls it out she shreds all in minutes has anyone any ideas on how to stop her doing it or any suggestions on bedding she wont be able to rip up .the little bitch has my head recked the kennels are only a few moths old and she has them destroyed .i know it's only for a while while her teeth are changing but i need to do something about it .thanks folks Y.I.S Lurcher 330

    Fair Play to the Gilford lurcher and terrier club who put on a great show with great trophies and other prizes .had a great day thanks lads

    i would chose a bayer that stays every time over a hard dog .i would rather a dog that can be dug to every time you want it rather than a hard fcuker that needs weeks to heal after each dig but it is nice to see a hard dog work
