Noticed a big improvement this last couple weeks. Got them on just wheat now and managing to get them out for more regular flys. Im still not keen to breed off them as yet but i am looking at getting a couple of well bred squeakers in over the next month or so and adding them or perhaps a pair of older stock birds in to start breeding. I have got one spinning really quick and deep but it doesn't kit well dint know if this would be a hereditary fault id pass on to young so unless a mate shows its self like i say im wanting to start with as best a breeding base as poss

One pair they are bred off are morris hole the other im not sure of but the fella travelled a good distance and was assured they were quality stock. They were bred last spring/summer. I think i might be being a bit impatient what with how little regular flying time they have had then the moult and now hardly getting out over winter?

I was wondering if any can help me out. I got my first kit of rollers this august, some birds 3 month 4 month and 2 just 2.5 month, plus the pair most were bred from which were approx 2 years. Bearing in mind id never even held a pigeon before iv come in totally green but had a bit help here n there. Now obviously when i got them i settled them for 3 weeks before letting them out and the old pair immediately flew away but 19 came back which isn bad but i wish id put the old pair separate but hindsight...... Any way i had 19 settled birds they were flying tight but slow and no rolls, well i t

What area you in? What line they from? Looking for game border pup and would be intrested in any info

Iv got no problems paying a good price but I just feel if people charging fashionable prices they may not be breeding for the right reason so you could get less dog for more money. True dog lads charge what has always done them not what pets 4 homes say

Hello Old member recently started looking on again. Looking for a good stamp of border breeder can anyone point me in a genuine direction. Wanting small traditional working type not bothered by papers or silly money. In north east but can travel. Do bush work and flush for big dogs and will be kept indoors around kids as house pet also. Cheers

eukanuba!!!!! what do you do for a living and how many dogs are you feeding? if a biscuit came out with, supposedly, all our nutitional requirements in without knowing whats in it or how its made into what it is would you eat 2 soggy bowls of it every day or stick with a natural diet? ask youself and i bet if your dog could speak it would say the same

just been talking to a fox their and it said it wouldn feed a 7 month old cub anything over %26 3/8

I stopped getting it couple year ago was finding it not as traditional as it was all new commers and foreign waffle no legends or education just name hunters with evey day stories, is it back to how it used to be then or not?

I feed stock pot aka chuck it in if its got goodness have a big pan on and just put left overs peelings a pack of mince here a tin of spinach there bit rice just what ver mix it over brown bread and supply raw meaty bones from the butcher. costs pennys the dogs are strong hard and stamina ridden!! bollox to all this 26 0r maybe 28 shite in a brown biscuit. a dog likes variety in taste portion and nutrition as much as any thing. mix and mash save the cash!!!! dont fall into the capatilist trap of the made up world of dog food I bet you throw away enough good food to keep a pack. read ian bil
