At least you got 3 mate, even if 2 were out the traps. There is a couple of farms local that use traps and they don't mind me taking the rabbits out

Cracking pictures mate, valleylad seatrout are harder than wild brownies but a good brownie will know every snag in the stretch whereas seatrout are migrating through the river

In my opinion bedlington cross lurchers can be stubborn, don't give me grief bedlington owners as i love them but all terriers can be stubborn at times, so never give up with it. Their will be times when you wish you had getting a different cross. But with good working parents it shouldn't be too hard to train. You should keep it's training sessions short, 2 or 3 retrieves to start with, same for sit, stay and recall but always give it plenty of praise and it should come good in the end

We'll only go out to problem foxes from now as we do it for pest control

My season is never over as i always get phone calls telling me where the rabbits are bad, although we only do the fox when they are being problems but i'm looking forward to the trout fishing and there is a couple of new ponds for me to try

Some borders take their time coming on but when they do settle down to work they are good, i've only known 2 be too hard and constantly getting laid up. I was out with my friend one day and his dog marked and went to ground it was baying for 20 minutes and a fox bolted but the dog was still baying and when we broke through after a 30 minute dig there was the dog with 2 more foxes. That was it's first time on fox, although it was good on rats and rabbits

get 2 mate definetly as they are sociable creatures, although i had a polecat dog that would try to kill any other ferrets that i tried to put in with him

Nice looking border mate, i'll get in touch with my mate to see if i can get some pics of his old dog and put them up, his did everything although it only had a few fox before it sadly passed away at 2
