  1. My season is never over as i always get phone calls telling me where the rabbits are bad, although we only do the fox when they are being problems but i'm looking forward to the trout fishing and there is a couple of new ponds for me to try
  2. Hello and :welcomeani: to the site mate
  3. Some borders take their time coming on but when they do settle down to work they are good, i've only known 2 be too hard and constantly getting laid up. I was out with my friend one day and his dog marked and went to ground it was baying for 20 minutes and a fox bolted but the dog was still baying and when we broke through after a 30 minute dig there was the dog with 2 more foxes. That was it's first time on fox, although it was good on rats and rabbits
  4. Nice looking pups mate, you done well with them
  5. nice looking terrier mate, looks like it seen a bit
  6. hello and welcome to the site mate
  7. Hello and :welcomeani: to the site mate
  8. get 2 mate definetly as they are sociable creatures, although i had a polecat dog that would try to kill any other ferrets that i tried to put in with him
  9. Nice looking border mate, i'll get in touch with my mate to see if i can get some pics of his old dog and put them up, his did everything although it only had a few fox before it sadly passed away at 2
  10. 3 nice dogs there, i like that black and white dog
  11. well done mate on the 14 rabbits, i bet the dog wished it had stayed at home with all that snow about
  12. How far out? depends what range your comfortable at (start at 20 - 25 yards), pigeons will keep using the field till all the grain is used, first light is normally the best time to watch the flight lines as they are taking off from their roost to the feeding grounds, they can appear with in 10 minutes or they could be wary and not come at all. I've seen me out with the hide set up and the pigeons have moved further down the field or into a different field, alot of it is luck
  13. I've had a couple for the airguns and in my experience they aren't that good although they were cheap at £30 and £50, i ended up giving the £30 one away, i still have the other one for rats and pigeons in barns, i would save your money and get something else
  14. Airgunner for decoying pigeons you would need to watch their flight lines first then the next day go to where they are feeding early and place your decoys out and sit it out. If it all goes to plan some should drop in to your decoys
  15. they are good guns, i got rid of mine and ended up with a smk xs78 although i prefer the crossman you have just got to watch c02 for the cold as below a certain temperature they don't perform well, they will kill all manner of small vermin
  16. i've got twin town on dvd its a good laugh

    AVATAR

i got a programme from download.com called Mihov image resizer, thats what i use when my pics are too big or the wrong format
  18. when it happened with my smk i put a new c02 bottle on and fired into soil, i wouldn't recommend continuosly doing it though
  19. vetzyme bedding is good mate as you can put it in the washer and it dries like new, just keep feeding her the same food but a bit extra as it will take the weight off her feeding pups

  21. Nice pictures anyway Mad Al, it's always nice to see birds of prey
  22. Make sure she is getting a bit extra food and less excersize, make sure you get her used to the whelping area before she is due so she is comfortable in it. Terriers normally whelp without any problems but pre-warn your vet of her due date just in case. Good luck with your litter
