    Tried subs in mine and it wouldn't cycle them, probably why GSG advise using HV rounds.

    A bolt action .22LR would be more favourable or a ruger 10 22 for accurately taking rabbits at longer range. Don't forget the GSG5 fires .22HV rounds which aren't the most accurate.

    Not sure about rabbits but they're great fun at the range, although I am considering selling mine to fund a Benelli M2.

    I've fired a 50cal Desert eagle in the states and the recoil is just about manageable. It's a gimmick which serves no real purpose unless your a gang banger.

    My mates just got a 3.5-10x50, think it was the Diamondback model. Cost £214. Had a quick look through it both light and at dusk and have to say I was impressed.

    It might be worthwhile him testing out other pistols in 9mm as well as other calibres.

    He need's to try shooting some of the other lads pistols and see if he's getting similar groups. If the other shooter can get the pistol to group well and his are still off then he need's to change his shooting style not the pistol. If he's hitting a man size target at 25m he needn't worry.

    I have both semi and O/U, if I had to choose one as an all rounder it would be an O/U. A Beretta 686E sporter makes a great all round shotgun both in the field and shooting clays.

    Tried reloading same bullet with Varget, Start load as per Hodgdon was 24gr on trying to seat bullet found too much powder and compressed load. How was it for the 23.5 ok?

    It shot 4 inches high by 1/2" left @200y 2 shots were 1" apart. I gave the turret 4 clicks of down (1 click = 1/4" @100y) shouldn't your adjustments have been 8 clicks down and 1 click right as 1 click = 1/2" @200y or was you adjusting to keep 2" high at 200?

    Well that link show binos at $55 so if your looking for something cheaper Id recoomend you get 2 empty loo rolls and stick jam jars in the end coz you aint going to get much bino for $55

    A logical reason could be for use on an authorized range. I own a GSG5 which I use solely on a 25m indoor range and its great fun to shoot. It certainly isn't a firearm designed for use in the field and could certainly lead to problems if a person did so.
