I was out this morning ratting with Thurso Jack and our dogs, aving not a bad old time till Thurso stabbed himself with rusty bit of wire, anyway the dogs worked well and I had to dig deep for this chap not a bad size I'm thinking. And heres my dog at the end of the day, sorry the focus is knackered on the camera.

The Arabs do it in the desert and Turk in the town, not for me though, tried it once, could'nt change gear and kept spilling my pint. Maybe if Turk was on a horse it would be more acceptable?

Heres some pic of the build in progress, there was an original shed there which is now the weighing room etc, built on the chamber and cut an adjoining door. I've since changed the corner perch and the perch in front of the window which was originally a shelf perch but I found it wrecked his tail feathers so I changed it to the on below.

When we lived down in Kent we had one that sat on the roof of one of the outbuildings and yap like a puppy every morning for a few months then disapear til the following year. Great little bird.

I'd agree with that, my MHH's killer hunting weight is 1lb 4 3/4 oz, he'll still take easy rabbits at 1lb 6 1/2 oz and obedient to 1lb 8oz or more(after moult), I normally hunt him at about 1lb 5 oz. I doubt if you'd get away with flying a Gos 3oz over its hunting weight.
