His xray showed that his toe was phisicaly snapped in to 2. So it may need ampitation. The vet didnt give me no options just told me to give him tablets once a day, come back in a weeks time andput a cast sort of thing round his leg. I am going back in a week then i think ( But am not sure ) they will decide to ampitate it or not.

it was 2 days not 3.... well 1 day really as it happened on the night... the vet said he wasnt in pain until he put pressure on his small toe. He's got a broken toe not a broken foot and may need it ampitated if it doesnt heal right... Hopefully it doesnt happen.

Hes ok i have a another appointment in the morning ( half 8 :l ) he broke his foot.

Yeah, Lots of praise. And like someone above said ( can't remember name sorry ) Keep it occupied with a treat/toy before chucking it over and saying up/over. MOD

Well with mine i just started him off on small fences/walls to build his confidence up... then gradually get higher fences for him...

I don't really have the time for insurance now... im getting him there tommorow.. and if all goes down well ( fingers crossed ) i'll then get insurance for him.

Thanks for that it helped alot. I will and not so far no.. he only crys when i touch his paw. My brother said it may be pulled ligaments/twisted or even snapped. Hike ( The one in my sig ) and he's a 1/4 Saluki 3/4 Grey.

Oh ok... I'm going to take him to the vets tommorow.. I have gave a him a pain killer ( for dogs ) for now... and i'll get another one tommorow.. Hopefully he'll be ok.

Jesus! Get the dog to the vet! And stop being tight! tight on your pocket and tight on your pet! You will want it to work for you and catch you your prey, yet you wont help it out when in need! jesus tonight. I'm not being tight... I'm 14 and i clearly said that i will take him to the vets... but there might be another way. And i wouldnt of posted if i wasnt wanting to help the dog. Anyone know the vet bill so i could have example of how much money id need..?

My dog ran into a thin tree why the lamp was off and I thought he might have broke his leg at first by the noise it made and how he was howling. I checked on him in the morning as he was ok on the night and he keeps his back leg ( left ) tucked in... he doesnt cry unless i touch his paw ( this is the same on the front leg ). Any ideas on what i should do? ive petted him a bit and thinking about taking him to the vets... But i want to know if theres any other way because of the vet bill ( it might cost alot ). Thanks, MOD.

You sure mate because where im looking it looks like a saluki grey maybe bit of whippet or collie and even bul... You need to get a better pic up no one can be 100% sure from there.
