I suppose you could always work with it and just re-write your own range card then learn it by shooting at these distances till your happy with how your scope is preforming.

Hey guys need a bit of a hand with my new rifle i just bought i cant take the 8 shot mag out meaning it has to be reloaded while still in the rifle it didnt bother me at first but is a bit time consuming. Does any one have a Daystate Single Shot Loading Tray? If so can you give me the measurements i think it might fit my rifle and if that is the case then then the removable mag should too well maybe haha. Also if any one can tell me how the removable mag indexs that would be great i just want to see if my rifle has the same sort of stuff needed. regards Dave

Well making my way to the car yesterday morning i herd some frantic flapping in the tree behind me. I turned just in time to see a pigeon falling from the tree! it was hurt in the leg as far as i could see maybe it was attacked not sure but it was having real trouble flying (or doing anything for that matter!). So here is me delibberating wither i should help it out and ring its neck or leave it for a bit more see how it does when the girlfriend pokes her head out of the top window and says i thought you would be away by now.........then she sees the pigeon!! I spent the next 5 min trying t

from what i have gathered about the company over the past weeks is that it was a very small company owned by husband and wife shooting enthusiasts. one worked the company sales the other i think was a designer and they employed a top gunsmith. there may have been one or two more employees im not sure but it was very small. the one i have so i have been told above sold new for around £600. the company base in england closed in 2004-05. there was not many rifles made could have been hundreds or thousands but as far as i can gather from other sites not many. Not sure if i paid to

http://www.opticswarehouse.com/acatalog/info_127.html well this as close as i can find in the 5 min i looked haha its the same as this just its a 3-9x50 not 3-9x40. Also im afraid no instructions.
-
its a simmons 3-9x50 it has a duplex crosshair and as a gold deers head on the side thats all i know. i thought i could turn it but i cant or its so tight i cant shift it?
-
Just got a new rifle with a scope but im having problems with the scope. If i look at a white wall the crosshairs are out of focus but then quickly come into focus the longer i look (i guess this is my eye adjusting?) but if i hold the cosshairs on any sort of target they go completely and i cant see them at all ( and i mean no sign what so ever?) is there any way i can focus the crosshairs? cheers dave

Thanks mate well to up date you i did buy it and it really is nice looks and shooting! I thought i had made the wrong decision because i had never herd much about the make (but so far it has been a little hidden gem) and the company going down in 2004 (i think) But you maybe right (i hope you are). Right now it has taken its new place in my collection and it might be one of those keepers you never know I might even upload a pic if anyone is interested. Cheers guys

i see now so you obviously arent going to get charged for the air just the guys time and the use for his kit. So the bigger the better when your getting a fill. cheers for the clear up
-
Hey timjim great bit of info there thanks. any idea where i can try before i buy its not something i have herd of? I will have a look into the daystate and s410. The thing that got me was that for the price of £465 (new) i could get a pcp and it being a 10 shot mag. (it also got a good right up) I does get you wondering because its alot of cash to spend for a rifle thats no good to you! I think i will have to find somewhere to try it out before i spend my pennies haha those people at the student loans would kill me if they knew i was using it for a new air rifle

Also has anyone got one for sale (BSA Scorpion T10?)
-

Anyone own one? I read the review in Airgun World and fell in love great looking rifle and looks like it preforms well.(Also a 10 shot PCP for under £500 thats not half bad) But would like to know how you owners or people who have tried it find it out of the testing area so to speak? Also looking for a 3-9x40 scope illuminated mildot whats the best scope i can get for under £130 (tell me if thats not reilistic) Cheers Dave

The way light travels means it gets bigger as it moves further away from its source meaning the dot from a lazer at 30yards will not be the same size as it is if it was 10 yards. the size of a football maybe over doing it a bit but i think the point is that as the range increases your accuracy drops. Its not much use if what your using to aim at your prey is about the size of its head at 30 yards because you dont know where your pellet is going to hit in that circle (so to speak) or blimp shape as timelord has said. Hope that helps O just to mention one thing. altho a lazer isnt that g
