  1. I suppose you could always work with it and just re-write your own range card then learn it by shooting at these distances till your happy with how your scope is preforming.
  2. Hey guys need a bit of a hand with my new rifle i just bought i cant take the 8 shot mag out meaning it has to be reloaded while still in the rifle it didnt bother me at first but is a bit time consuming. Does any one have a Daystate Single Shot Loading Tray? If so can you give me the measurements i think it might fit my rifle and if that is the case then then the removable mag should too well maybe haha. Also if any one can tell me how the removable mag indexs that would be great i just want to see if my rifle has the same sort of stuff needed. regards Dave
  3. Cheers for all the great comments guys and timelord the rollingpin did come out when the g/f read the story i posted. 5. Well making my way to the car yesterday morning i herd some frantic flapping in the tree behind me. I turned just in time to see a pigeon falling from the tree! it was hurt in the leg as far as i could see maybe it was attacked not sure but it was having real trouble flying (or doing anything for that matter!). So here is me delibberating wither i should help it out and ring its neck or leave it for a bit more see how it does when the girlfriend pokes her head out of the top window and says i thought you would be away by now.........then she sees the pigeon!! I spent the next 5 min trying t
  6. from what i have gathered about the company over the past weeks is that it was a very small company owned by husband and wife shooting enthusiasts. one worked the company sales the other i think was a designer and they employed a top gunsmith. there may have been one or two more employees im not sure but it was very small. the one i have so i have been told above sold new for around £600. the company base in england closed in 2004-05. there was not many rifles made could have been hundreds or thousands but as far as i can gather from other sites not many. Not sure if i paid to
  7. Haha dont be so worried. But hey thanks for all the time and info. it is slowly but surely moving back by unscrewing it. im adding a little lubrication each time i give it a little turn its like it has never been done it is as dry as a bone and full if grit, fluff and alsorts!! thanks again

  11. http://www.opticswarehouse.com/acatalog/info_127.html well this as close as i can find in the 5 min i looked haha its the same as this just its a 3-9x50 not 3-9x40. Also im afraid no instructions.
  12. its a simmons 3-9x50 it has a duplex crosshair and as a gold deers head on the side thats all i know. i thought i could turn it but i cant or its so tight i cant shift it?
  13. Just got a new rifle with a scope but im having problems with the scope. If i look at a white wall the crosshairs are out of focus but then quickly come into focus the longer i look (i guess this is my eye adjusting?) but if i hold the cosshairs on any sort of target they go completely and i cant see them at all ( and i mean no sign what so ever?) is there any way i can focus the crosshairs? cheers dave
  14. Thanks mate well to up date you i did buy it and it really is nice looks and shooting! I thought i had made the wrong decision because i had never herd much about the make (but so far it has been a little hidden gem) and the company going down in 2004 (i think) But you maybe right (i hope you are). Right now it has taken its new place in my collection and it might be one of those keepers you never know I might even upload a pic if anyone is interested. Cheers guys
