    have had a visit from the sspca as someone has been spreading viscious lies that my pups have PARVOVIRUS and i have been supposedly treating them myself with meds bought off the internet these pups have been hand fed since 1 1/2 weeks as their mother stopped feeding them and since then have been fed on food that costs FIVE times what she gets,they have been wormed twice just as a routine precauction and been given a clean bill of health from both senior vets from the practice i take them to i see three of the pups which have already been sold on an almost daily basis and they look gre

    yep same story here years ago a friend of mine who was an electronics wizard said he could make them for pennies if he new what the number on the chip was, maybe we should start a thread asking if anyones got a box where the numbers not been scratched of the chip

    my mates lad recently turned 18,i gave him a lurcher pup and his dad took him paintballing.i know which one i would have had if i had the choice

    cant remember the specific name offhand but its a burrowing ground beetle that finds dead mice etc by scent and then buries the body and lays its eggs on it, as said above their not young their parasites(mites) on it

    i wouldnt use anything else since using MOZZY OFF it contains NO DEET AND NO CITRONELA and being based on plant oils it doesnt evaporate. got abit on my hat incase i forget to take the bottle with me and it still works,it even works on the dog if you put a wee bit between the shoulder blades an added bonus is on the bottle it says (mozzy off works if you dont agree we'll refund your money) cant say fairer than that

    found a wee jill over 20 years ago that had already had this done to her.all 4 canines had been snapped and were brown and rotten,even after they had been taken out the wee git could still kill rabbits down the hole,so she had suffered for nothing

    same as said above,cant defend itself. years ago mate had a ferret that was always killing down the hole so he muzzled it and he ended up with more layups and digs cause it couldnt finish them off. so would say steer clear i cant see any real advantage

    i dont often post in the ferreting section or any section if truth be told, but have i just been lucky? as in years of ferreting i would say ive only had one ferret that wasnt a good worker. ive always bred my own or got them from good friends and never had any problems,my most recent gill came from a young lad from here,i dont know her line/breeding etc and at just over a year old shes working both small and large burrows (over 100 holes) on large hillsides,if she thinks theres still one in there shes not coming out till she finds it or i let her grab a dead one so we can move on.

    do you recomend any books or sites on making nets or is it best to ask someone to show me how to ? thanks net making vids are plentyfull on youtube but as said already by others 10z nets at a £1 each are a bargain and will last you for a very long time.

    as the title states The top 3 dogs off THL that you would LIKE to have in your kennels? :-) not only like to have these were my girls unfortunately two of these girls are no more but as a pack i most certainly had no complaints

    if theres any red wax in the ear its probably canker,i always have OTODEX on hand for the ferrets and it works well on dogs too,you can get it from most pet shops

    i once had dog who had his whole tail amputated due to an RTA,it didnt affect his balance turning etc in the slightest,smashin wee dog on rabbits and hated foxes with a vengance. i would gladly have another like him
