  4. i shoot loadsa rat's. with the air rifle best bait to use is oxtail or chicken soup [ the rats have to stay still to lap it up giving you plenty o time to get a bead on em] if there is a fair few rat's you will see there run's ect bait 2 or so with soup go back 25 yard's sit down get comfy in one skip yard i shoot i have on old fold up work bench which i use as a rest for the gun i sit on a deck chair and wait the rat's will come to the soup as soon as they start lappin up and are still i shoot em in the nappa. it is best to head shot em as most body shot rat's will not drop on the s
  5. if the gun has a silencer . check the baffles may need cleaning. and make sure the silecer has not loosened up on the gun . this can cause inconsictent accuracy.
  6. i reckon not . but i could wrong i doubt it though maybe with a small bottle but a 15 or 18 litre no way. it only cost's£2 to fill a bottle any size at the diving shop and if you get a 15 or 18 litre it last's a long time loadsa fill's..
  7. air arm's s200 . just got my 15 year old son one he is doing well with it crow's,pigeons, rabbit's and rat's. very lightweight and accurate and with a silencer one of the quietest pcp's around . a mate of mine bought one for shooting squirrel's a few year's back when they first came out. and he or though he shouldnt of shot a dog fox at 20 yard's and dropped it were it stood.. i told him because he did it once dont do it again he got lucky . SO dont try and shoot foxes with an airgun..
  8. good goin mate . it's fun shootin em BUT as i have found out many times a nightmare skinning and dressing em.lol. the lad i shoot with will kill em all day long but come skinnin time he bolt's for home  i used to just gut em .leave everything else on em and feed em to the dog's whole. head's ,feet the lot. but in time when the freezers were busting with em. and the dog's puke when they look at em . i'm sorry to say we ditch most of em
  9. thank's guy's.... best. lee...
  10. i still have it skinned out in the freezer . dont think i will naturalise it though. he he . i sent it's carcass to a mate of mine who is into oesteology articulating skeleton's and he said when he was putting it together it had less vertebra than it should have and it's bones were unusually brittle. but it did come from a real nice wild place high up on the penines and when i skinned it . it had a good fat layer on it so it must of been getting by well enough.
