Bet there's not many cats around when your about!!! cool pics.

Yeah, if it was just a cough i wouldnt of posted, it was the fact that this werid cough started straight after he smacked his nogin. Will keep an eye on him, think it was a mixture of a smacked head and hurt pride for losing his prey!

Hi All, Out for a mooch last night, had a monster run, real cracker, seemed to last for minutes. Dog was fine if not a little tired! anyway slowley wondered to the next fields to give the dog a chance to catch his breath, slipped him on a rabbit about 100 yards away, hammered it up then down the hedge then it went it, dog must of smacked his head on a fence post pretty hard as the green mould had come off onto his bonce. Anyway we called it a day, he seemed fine. Got home and he seemed a bit strange, kept having a really funny cough as if something was stuck in his throat, i checke

Caution, Interesting, but may offend those of a sensitive nature.

Dont mess with those riles!!! On this subject has anyone seen hurt locker? Downloaded it earlier this week, crazy movie, really hard to watch, so tense. Really mental scene with a sniper battle. these modern day wars expose some amazing video and photographs, we see more of modern warfare than any other generation. Would be interesting to see some of the Pics and Vidz from soldiers in WW1+2. Still this pic is no different to pics of proud people, thier dogs and the prey! -
Indeed, there are thousands of dogs who lure course each month and they don’t say f*ck it. That lure is prey to them either way. It was just a thought really. Cant see the hunting with dogs ban ever being overturned so was just thinking out loud. Dangerous I know!

Hi, Was thinking about the ban on dogs running hares. Would anyone run their dogs on hares if the dogs were muzzled? Indeed this is a little harsh on the dogs but if it were the only way to run them legally on hares would many people take it up. One way of testing the dogs out and keeping hare numbers up? Just a thought. Edd

Nightrunner wrote this when i put my views on dog fighting on the thread: 'One day Foxhounds, Beagles, Lurchers of all cross and any dog associated with hunting might very well share the same ban, Where will you stand then?' Thats why i took the bait a little! I have nothing against legal Bull breeds at all, not my cup of tea but each to their own. Just a shame for bull owners that the majority of these dogs that are seen by the public have a tw*t attached to the other end of the lead. Skinz said 'I dont know anything about dog fighting, so i cant comment on it' well do we all ha

Yeah, pretty grim that news story. Program here about the same faith i think: Grim. Really a terrible, terrible 'faith' that can only be followed by evil people. Think there was the original program and a return to the witch chilren. Both harrowing in the extreme. Also spotted this: Closer to home. Can see this becoming more commonplace.

Yeah its all ecomomies of scale really. The farms out there are huge, we cannot compete with the sheer size of their operations. Machinery wise they are sorted. It also helps having mexican 'workers' who work through the day no matter how hot it is. When i was in arizona i played golf and those buggers worked through the day and it was sodding hot. I felt a little bad with my air conditioned golf bugger with a cool box full of drink on the front! Watched that Jimmy Doherty's farming show last month, he was in the states on a tomatoe farm, bloody hell the scale of that place was

Sorry i always get a little carried away when this topic comes up. I cannot imagine anyone defending dog fighting on here.
-
Oh come on Nightrunner think about this. If you want to defend dog fighting because in the future our running dogs may be banned you are mental. Listen to yourself! Have a read, really great people they are, just misunderstood. Everyone who runs dogs on this board should distance themselves from dog fighting men as far as possible not stand shoulder to shoulder with them. People who hate this shopuld not be tarred with the 'Anti' tag either.

Carry on moaning about the raids. If the dogs are all legal and it has been a miscarriage of justice then the police have screwed up again and the dogs will go back to their owner If they are involved in dog fighting then they are scum, simple as. If they are scrotes who are using the dogs as muscle involved in gangs then good, they are also scum. If you want to start defending dog fighting on this board keep going. Turns my stomach. If you want to link working dogs with pitbulls they bully for you, but any people who 'work' illegal dogs in this country must be as rare as hens

Amazing video. Is it just me or arre their legs at risk when landing? I know on the first section they are landing on sand but still there must be a lot of pressure coming down. Is this a competative sport, have seen some vids of dogs like this pulling weights along with a harness before, power to weight wise they cant be beaten!

My mate got stopped in the week, 1 copper and 2 pcso's/junior copper types. Think the guy was just showing off, kept asking if my mate thought that rabbits were legal etc etc. Anyway after keeping them there for almost an hour they let him go, low and behold the next day the copper called him up and apologised for not knowing the law! i would of feinted! As far as coppers go, 95% of them have no knowledge. Grinds my gears, where are they when quads go missing? Your car gets broken into? Deception criminals target old ladies? P*ssing around outside the local kebab shop stopping cha

Good bloody job.

Yeah tis a rare occasion, have to get out in the real sticks to find that. Never really understood the point in a lot of the light pollution, for example lighting up dual carriagways etc, surely thats what you bloody headdlights are for! Even though we are quite rural we still get a lot of pollution from bristol and bath. Would love to see some realy darkness, went down a mine in arizona and that was total darness, bloody mental!

Out for a mooch when i finish work tonight, will probabley head out about half eight. have about 400 acres to cover so may do a few laps. Hopefully this wind a rain will last, makes things easier, i have been known to imporsonate a baby rhino when squeezing through hedges and the wind makes it easier! Also what time do you guys prefer to head out when lamping, i know some people go really late, but im on 12 hour days at the moment so that makes it a bit painful come the morning!

Stumbled across this tonight. People should get a hobby, to much tim on their hands! Mental!

Yeah i wanted something larger but this one came up and couldnt resist another whippet! I will keep my ear to the ground for another dog, will get a third i think! Mind you this one is a right little sh*t compared to Dante. Chewed the bottom of a cushion on the sofa out yesterday, foam everywhere.

Pure Whippet mate!
