Hi everyone I'm from Wicklow Ireland. I have three hunting dog's a beaglexharrier bitch a pup from her and a patterdale bitch both working.if you seen my earlier post apologies for not introducing myself the site has changed since I used to visit years back.

Hi everyone I use to be on this site few years back but gave up hunting for few year's just wanted to know if anyone knew of any creams or remedies for ring worm on dogs.My mates patterdale has it and he's tried lots of stuff but nothing seems to be working she has lost lots of hair is this common from it I never seen this on dogs before any advice much appreciated thanks for reading.

People like you ruin hunting in general and the terrier section in general.Why put up pics of injured terriers for anyone to see so you can brag to others with your hard eaten dogs a bit of common sense would tell any human being with a brain not to do this hunting is not banned in ireland but with gobshites like yourself it wont be to long till it is.This is only my honest opinion i am hunting twenty years seen the best and worst of terriers,lurchers etc and i never brought a camera to brag take pics of my injured dogs,quarry.FOOLS LIKE YOURSELF GIVE HUNTSMEN A BAD NAME {GOBSHITE}

Hi all i bought a pure beddy two weeks ago mother/father top all rounders.I only paid 150 euro for him at eleven months old.The guy i bought this dog of kept him in a shed full of shit with f**k all light.The dog was very nervous and i bought him more out of pity as no dog should be treated this way.When i got him home i chained him to the kennel as otherwise id have to chase him round the pen making him worse.Anyway one week later he was all lively tail waggling so i decided to give him a lamp with my lurcher two rabbits were caught he shook both well for first time in a field.Two days later

I agree with GONETOEARTH that just because you breed out of to game terriers or lurchers doesnt mean all pups come good.My uncle once bred out of to of the best terriers i have ever seen in sixteen years of hunting three pups born one good two waste of time.Also two years ago we bred after his all round hound after my {rabbit only bitch{money would not buy these pups now as they are through all rounders.Last year we bred after same dog his all round bitch pups shite so as far as wanting to know dogs breeding lines unless buying close to home or in pure lines bullshite.If was a cross breed no o

Hi everyone i need advice and previous experiance,s of people who have worked or work lakelands.I am considering buying a young pup but am weary because of past experiance with a few i once purchased.I dont know the owner or dogs breeding so would have to take his word that dog is bred well but previous purchases like this have ended in disaster.The ones i worked in the past hated heavy cover and spent more time running round the field like a bad trained gun dog.can anyone help advise me as i have liitle knowlage of this breed thanks

hi,lad i just bought a lakeland terrier 13 mths old will not enter him till september.So my advice is wait til winter as why rush him for sake of few months and ruin years of hunting as one bad experience to young will sour him.

I seem to notice everyone on this site are always going on about waiting for dogs with good bloodline what bullshite u can breed after two of the best dogs around and get f**k all.Personally i find its lazy c**ts who know f**k all about hunting and dont have patience or know how to train a dog and who ever this point fits would be better of with a poodle.

[Fair enough point my bitch i got from pound when she was five months old all any person does with any dog with greyhound in it is get it first few kills after that the dog does the rest.But i agree with a comment made to ye if you have a chap on the lamp who is cluless dog end up the same

Hi sorry to hear about your illness,my girlfriend,s mother has had diabetes for years and you prob already know this if you carry lucozade mars bars or jam as your out so when you feel faint it will bring your sugar level,s back up.Probably pointless information but if helps glad to have helped. :

Hi, I am interested in chatting with people about Lamping Quarry, and day time coursing with Lurchers. Just want to learn different opinions and approaches to training dogs at day and night. Also want to hear about different peoples experiences out on the field, as I am 27 and have been hunting with Lurchers for 13 Years, and Like getting advice from more experienced Lurcher Handlers. Looking forward to hearing about Fieldsports from across the water.
