google 'Haboorn product' he has stsndard sizes but can make to measure, cost me £200 but that was before price increase in steel.

I have had two 14month old pups stolen from paddocks at Westfarm just outside of HARTLEPOOL ( North East). One is a Black Dog approx 33kg earmark (RHQ1) the other is a Black and White Bitch earmaks (JKX IS), the bich is very distictive in so much that one side of her face is black the other white, hence her pet name the Mask. Any help in tracing these pups would really help me especially if you could pass the ear marks on to your local flapping tracks and any of your friends. Thanks Ron Grey. Tel 07846 016296

Yes vet fees would be on top but no entry fees NGRC they pay you to run your dogs. Your bill a Sunderland or newcastle would be around 30 x 6 = £180 if your dog runs 4 times in a month and wins 1 from 4 = 3 x £20 apperance + 1 win at an average of £120 = £180, so basicly if you have 1 win from 4 it costs you nothing. Not all tracks have prize money as high as Sunderland & newcastle as they are bookmaker owned.

Type in the letters in your dogs ear and change the number ( not number 5 not used in british bred replaced with A ) and you may get another dog in the litter.

NGRC or flapping ? depending on the type of dog you keep, if you only keep open class then NGRC is the thing to do as when you are flapping you probabley use a jocky anyway so having a licence means you can do both, if you keep middle of the grade types then flapping is probably best until the handicapper has the best of the dog then send it to an NGRC trainer and sell it off the form.

aprox estimated of cost to race greyhounds Kennels NGRC standard for 5 - 10 dogs aprox £4000 - £5000 NGRC red tape £100 Scales £300 Porta Mag £ 350 Ultra sound / laser/faradic machine aprox £400 Suitable van+ cages £ 2000 + Leads,coats,bowls & first aid £ 200 any spare time you used to have Your hair £200 vet/ostiopath bills per dog per year aprox After all this you then have to buy a dog ( last week a nice unraced pup did 28.94 around Newcastle and the owner has supposed to have refused £40,000 for it ) Hope this helps........
