Took the word right out of my mouth MR L The mildot ret. I was shooting 300yd targets with 1.5 inch bullseye and the ret was well within the size of the bull. local shop has a 8x32 x56 milldot and a5.5x22x56 with np1 r r both just over the thousand pounds which one would you go for or is it worth paying the extra three hundred pound for one with a different rectical .

I had a mil dot nxs last year on my 223...I found it to be a little cluttered and never really used the mildots for hold over...Now I have a nxs with a np-2dd reticle http://www.nightforceoptics.com/RETICLES_O.../NP-2DD-15x.pdf And will never look back.. In my opinion the 204 is a super flat shooter and there will be no need for a mildot reticle for hold over unless yoyr shooting out to 4-500yds... how did you get on with the thickness of line on the mill dot out at 200 300 yards or does that not matter because of the magnification at the momant i have a fixed 8 x 56 swarski

Just looked at a nxs 8x32x56 milldot which i am thinking of putting on to my 204 has any got any views on this scope ,rectical, rifel combination

The NXS model has side focus parallax adjustment at the turrets, the NF model has parallax adjustment on the front at the objective lens. 3bl so if everything else is the same why is the side focus three hundred pounds more?

Could someboby tell me what the difference is between a nxs scope and a nf of the same magnification apart from the cost .

mine will not shoot 32g at all but can get half inch groups with 40g hornady, . but remmington did send itto riflecraft and they said it would never shoot 32g ,did seem a bit strange that a remmington wouldnt shoot remmington ammo .

The rifle is new has a swarovski 8x56 scope, t8 mod and has fired about sixty shots and has been cleaned with pro shot after every tine it has been used. Problem seems to be after first shot (when cold) hits spot on then shots after get further and further away from bull, if rifle is left for fifteen twenty minutes rifle does the same spot on first shot then goes to pot canot find anything loose any ideas ?

how old is the rifle have you had it from new ? it shoulnt be off like that to be honest what scope have you got ? make sure that and the mounts are ok on it and if you have a silencer on it clean it if it comes apart. give the barrel a good clean with some copper remover like butchers bore shine. then patch it out after say 20 or 30 mins. you barrel could be dirty and need a good clean
