if you got it kenneled get it cleaned and disinfected DAILY, antibiotics for the dog. DONT take your dog anywhere near other dogs and would stay away from mates dogs and kennels unless your mates might not be very happy. and as a prevention for future reference you can get them vacinated with there yearly jabs its just a spray up the nose just be carefull kennel cough spreads like wildfire

Hi SPH, just read my post and your right she's not a Merle, I was trying to state that Merles have some historical eyeseight problems, she's a Hancock bred dog, whats your thoughts ? THIS IS NOT A HANCOCK FOR OR AGAINST DEBATE ! all lurchers eyes are tuned to movement, have seen my dogs looking round a field with rabbits sitting still with no reaction but if one moves there off, could just be that. or to test eyes cover one with one hand and move your hand towards uncovered eye as if your going to hit it, it should react blink etc. then same for other eye. hope this helps fella ATB
