  4. Hi Hooton & Jones produced sporting guns and rifles. A good gun and rifle maker but never made it into the big league of gunmakers as a result most of the guns from this maker are ofton plain and of a standard style and finish. I have worked on a number over the years. If it is in good condition and in proof I would be keen to make you a good offer. Regards Sage UK GUN REPAIRS. will let you know pal need to find out about the proofing. Just out of interest found maker name of other gun as G bates birmingham do you know anything about these? Regards stu

  7. top springer only rivaled by the TX. once you get use to the weight a highly accurate tool. i use accupells in mine for target shooting and also the crossman vermin pell (flat head) for hunting as find these hit hard and have seen them pass through rabbit skulls with ease at 30 yards

  14. my pup coming up year an a half soon cracking looking dog but in my opinion its far from alaunt. looks a stunning first x but alaunts head would be far stronger and the shoulders would be set alot heavyer. close to the right height but everything else is wrong. but again cracking looking animal he was bred back to a bull cross hence the alaunt bull grey his grandmother was one of plummers original alaunt bitches but bit to heavy set, his ideal for what i need him for, cheers stu
