  1. Thought i go out for a quick hour with the ferrets and my new lurcher pup today. A quick hour soon turned into a full afternoon. First burry i came to looked promising so i netted up, collard up the ferrets and left the burry to settle for a few mins before entering my jill. After 20 mins got out the locater and scanned the burry for a location. There she was 6 feet down and wasn't going anywhere, so got the spade and started digging down stopping to check every few mins to see if the jill has moved on, but she didnt. Lucky i was only digging through sand so it didnt take to long to brake thro
  2. There are very few rabbits around where i live, the mixy has hit them hard this year. There also seems to be alot more people that has taken up ferreting and lurcher work this year so the numbers are going to be next to nothing by the end of the season. Looking like im going to have to travell to get my game this season, thats when my new pup is ready.

  14. My mate knows of a whippet that takes fox single handed, its just over 21 1/2 inches. He asures me its pure whippet and i think he said it had sooty sam in its making. There's a few show whippets that live near me and are so small and boney, they look pathetic. And look like they would struggle with rats.
