  8. not as i know anything about them but that box of naveks looks ideal and moxys look class as well ,jok if you do what your suggesting and combine the 2 it would certainly look the dogs ,be good if others piped up about the sizes ,would they need to be much bigger for a hob? whats the reason for the slope ?
  9. no irritation at all even if i touch/stroke him! hes on raw food ,tripe, beef and lamb all minced and varied daily plus meaty knuckle bones off deer and the odd head for a bit of variety ,he gets this mixed meat with about 15-20% dried complete food 22% protein(which he has been on since a pup and the other dog gets the same diet) he also gets normal dog biscuits as treats ,he will not tolerate any bedding at all so his kennel is plywood ,thanks for the interest and any suggestions .vet took scrapes and combed for any foreign wildlife and nowt

  14. anyone had this problem with there dogs? ive got a gwp dog thats possibly got it he started to loose patches of hair just on his flank a few weeks back now ! i took him up the vets a couple of times now and they did bloods for thyroid etc and scrapes and everythings fine he had a dose of anti biotics 3 weekly doses of advocate and some other general eczema pills it improved things a bit slowly but its still no where near cleared up the vet cant tell me what it is other than eczema i feel im being stitched by the vet ,nothing has changed with his diet or bedding or anything EXCEPT i extended
  15. thats bad news matt! bees are something im thinking about in a couple of years once i find a mentor ! when you say not the best position for the hive how exposed was it ?the reason i ask is were trying to rent a we bit of extra ground and thats quite exposed i was thinking of making some willow or hazel hurdles to put up for shelter for them coming in and out whilst hedges were getting established ,ive not spoken to anyone yet about how much shelter is needed its all just in my head at the moment !

  19. cleaned the green house to let a bit more light in ready for the seed sowing soon and had a bit of a tidy up ,the grounds still wet outside but getting a bit better tidied a few raised beds up all ready now for the veg ! fruit border/beds are still way to wet to get near .

  22. everyone seems to keep coming back to a brinsea ! got to be a reason for it ! ive got a chicktec and had mixed results ,that could be down to driver error though as im new to fowl but im working with broodies now and trying to get them to do my work ,its much less hassel all round for me ,suppose it depends on how many you need per season and how many broodies you can spare/keep
