  1. why are they called queen annes type.??? they were named after Queen Anne type legs on furniture from yesteryear first class lad. not too many replied. Like a old Glen with bowed legs..........

  3. Nice Looking Pups, a lot of boys in Ireland bred working dogs like this but you dont hear of a lot bred this way now. Voon.

I had one a dinger to put up pheasants,would hunt a fox no bother if there was no birds in the area, brought him hunting cover one day and he rose about 10 pheasants while the rest of the dogs were motoring on a fox, i was the butt of a cruel slagging that day! But pups of him were great dogs in cover 3/4 terrier 1/4 spaniel way to go. Voon.

  10. Normally too big to get to ground but a fair dogs for beating cover and normally work fairly quite. Voon.
  11. I think when people speak off old and new Nuttall lines the mean that the stuff he breeds now is a lot finer in bone and has that turned up kinda head and doesnt look as strong as the type the Irish boys on here have that are bred down from his stuff. Voon

  19. i'd give her a break from it for a while, leave her a month or so. Did she have a hardish dig in the last while and needs to get her confidence back? might become a habit if you keep putting her to ground. Voon
