Very constructive . Just speaking my mind.A load of show rubbish.wouldnt waste lead on half of them!! We're all entitled to an opinion and should be encouraged to give it so here goes I Presume you're not into shows Rat Killer? Which begs the question, what are you doing in this forum? Perhaps you're in this forum because you have something constructive to say about show/working dogs but pressed "post" before you wrote it? Please do share your experience as to why you think these dogs are unworthy. Did you go to the show? If not, you should definitely consider going alon

Yeah I went too. Good to see some old faces and some new ones and some quality dogs. Got a second place meself. Very friendly place. and nice its just a dog show with no frills- all stalls and stuff have something to do with dogs. I'll definitely go again. Aces were really helpful but only had time for one run up the lure cos the kids kept taking the dogs in the fun classes which were friendly and well organised too-judge very good with the kids with lots of prizes for them whether they won or not! and I heard a working dog (a whippet?) won a pedigree class so nice to know the kc standards r -
OK - donnyc, stig and terrier2, you all seem to know what you're on about... and I'm sure loads of others reading this do too... what's your opinions on younger judges everyone has to start somewhere, so how would you go about giving someone a chance. What would make you "go under" (no smut please!) a judge if it was their first time judging?

INDOOR LURCHER SHOW - FEB 7th 2009
TheRabbitMan replied to goran's topic in Gamefairs, Meet Up's and Events
Hi there, I guess puppies are up first? Got a large smooth (adult) bitch and would like to show her - will her class be after the puppies? Who's the judge? Any other qualifiers available? Many thanks -
I've looked it up on the internet, but there's few details about the terrier and lurcher show - not even a contact number... Does anyone know if there are any special prizes or qualifiers for next year (or even this year...?) Any other details?

I've heard that a milky doe can make humans and dogs sick (when eaten!). Is that true? Anyone cooked a milky doe before?

My misses, kids and myself went to the "Fenland Country Fair today in stow-cum-quy, we had a lovely day anyone else go? What made it nicer, we won a couple of classes in the terrier show! missed the championship though, bugger.
