  1. http://youtu.be/EsRBH9I3TaA pretty impressive on the face of things. check out the iso
  2. Check out the specs on the new a7 11. matt. most of it is double dutch to me but seems to compare favourably with the big two. (at least from what i understand ) lol
  3. https://www.flickr.com/search/?q=a99+wildlife i did a search and this is what i have came up with for starters..
  4. lol same shite different day. .
  5. Show me one tack-sharp pic from a Sony..... ive just got a new lense so will get back to you. or is it allowed to borrow one.
  6. i have used canon and nikon. but have settled now with a sony . they are now producing some very good camera's. with the added bonus of being able to get some good glass from the old minolta gear. at a snip. worth a look thats for sure. great pics folks
  7. would love to see what that scored matt. looks heavy would score good with weight and volume
  8. if i left one of my best bitch in when i went out hunting she would be having some SERIOUS stress issues. and would snake and bounce till i returned . its a mute point to me as i havnt bred in over a decade. i wonder if i would see it different if i did breed again
  9. i have no problem paying for a pup. but would baulk at over 300 for a terrier. each to there own i say as the blood you want is worth as much as your willing to pay . . i often wonder why certain prices apear. (who sets the price and how do they come by that figure) i'm a little out of touch as to prices would this be in line with other working type pups.
  10. my lurcher also crashes through cover but it generally ends in me having to rescue him. and i have had to cut him free more than once in bramble . when i stayed in lancashire i would of kept smaller terrier for this job .
  11. well ive had three plummers and one cross plummer and never paid anywhere near that. they can be got for a working mans price . if they are going to a working enviroment. not every plummer owner is in it for the coins. some just like to work them.(and there in lies the problem) folk working there dogs regular' breed rarely. so the better tested stock is also rare. i would bide my time and work the crossbred for a season or two' look about. then get a plummer and run it alongside a more experienced terrier.
  12. what i am saying is with all the will in the world they are physically stuggle. with the low cover. the bigger dogs move easily over the top where the little chaps try to move through or kangaroo about. either way soon burns em out and they start lagging behind. i am a big fan of the smaller terriers but not in a lot of the top work we do.
  13. i am of the opinion that if you hunt on foot and have big area's of cover to work like moorland forestry and bog you really need to use dogs with a bit of leg. little short arse terriers just dont cope well with this sort of ground. and most times end up under someones arm. so we can get on.
  14. its plummer . good luck in your search. Benallen.
  15. mine rarely catch . in cover or otherwise. the lurcher is for that
  16. very interesting subject. my best bushers have been strong built and have a fair leg . but that suits the ground i work. i have smaller terriers but to be honest they cant tie the laces of the stronger terriers. on top. dont get me wrong there are times when they pull it out of the bag but i could count them on one hand over a season. i have very little cover the bigger terriers cant cope with and a fair amount of heather that the short arses cant cope with so a strong terrier suits me better
  17. i know the feeling ive a young un here unravelling my life is i speak . little cnut
  18. If Charlie Hebdo happened to be run by Front National or any other right wing group of people...... instead of a group of liberal lefties and feminists do you think it would of been left to run unchallenged on a national scale ?..........straightforward question. Impossible for me to know really as I don't have enough knowledge of the French system. My gut feeling is yes it would be, if it ran with the same fairly broad spectrum of critique. From what I can tell, the French have a broader excepted scope of political beliefs, from the socialist government in office to the Front National, wh
  19. great image well deserved by the look of it. well done
  20. i agree with the last post. a bitch needs to be kept fit and well. and getting out and about does just that. i wouldnt work them to ground deliberately or go looking for rats but i get them out untill they show signs of slowing down. then its on the lead. each to there own though
  21. some nice old lakies owned by some auld pals no fancy names just working stock
