  1. To be honest a lot of people do not have a clue how the internet works. They do not know that unless precautions are taken every time they hit a key it is recorded and accessible to others. Every thing they type when connected to the internet is retrievable, if not from their ISP then from their computer, Ipad, phone or the site they typed it on. People really need to wise up to this fact. TC
  2. I am not condemning any person who posts on here, but there are some who's, shall we say, enthusiasm is some what larger than their intelligence. Some might as well say "I robbed a bank today" then give the post code. Do what you want lads but FFS keep it to trusted people. TC
  3. Lol.it dont work on an archived thread. That was not an archived thread, have a look at the title in the second tab. TC So just search engines then.Well that had me baffled lol As has been said in the post above loose lips sink ships. It is not always search engines but because of the open door policy of the site anyone and I mean anyone can see what you post. TC
  4. Lol.it dont work on an archived thread. That was not an archived thread, have a look at the title in the second tab. TC
  5. If you look at the top r/hand side of my screen you will see a green square with a zero in it. When I click on it, it tells me how many engines were trying to track me. I have taken screenshots to show how many engines are actually tracking your every move on a internet connection. TC
  6. Just clicked on a search link, refreshed the page and this come up. Are they watching just you? TC
  7. Not on my PC. Edited to add: just refreshed and 14 "Guests" TC
  8. Just refreshed the page and no "guests" watching this thread, you think they would be as it is about them?
  9. I think that is down to google, I believe but I am not certain that IanB keeps the site an open site because it brings in more revenue from google. more visitors to the site = more spondulas for him. Not good though for the people posting on the site. TC
  10. If you're after a traditional web, don't fear the 4z. They're deadly, IF you but them in the right place. Too true, 10 yards in the right place will catch more than a 100 in the wrong place. TC
  11. Got it now. 6 x 500 / 3 = 1000. You can see I never done algebra as a kid. TC
  12. Or you can do what I do, only fill the jar 3/4 full of vinegar and top up with water. Has worked for me for years. TC
  13. I can give you a rough estimate. 500ml of 6% if you add 500 ml of water that would give you 1ltr of 3% so 500 ml of water has dropped the acidity by 3% so a third of 500ml should drop the acidity by 1% =166 ml. Don't know if my maths are correct but that is what I would use. TC
  14. Dealing with John Baird will leave a nasty taste in your mouth and holes in your pockets when things go wrong, which apparently they do quite often. Do yourself a favour and contact Nels0n. TC
  15. Could be a stoat or even a mink looking for an easy meal? TC
  16. Well his heart certainly did go BANG. I'll get my coat. TC
  17. I just cover the onions / shallots with a table spoon full of salt and top the tub up with water, leave for 24 hrs then wash then dry them. But when I make up the pickling vinegar, I add sugar 6oz per litre and warm the vinegar till it dissolves then pour it over the onions about 3/4 of the way up the jar then top up with water and seal the jar. TC
  18. Just got into mine yahoo and the wife's Sky / yahoo no problem. TC
  19. Today I sorted out my shallots and put the smallest one side for pickling. Next I just tailed them leaving some of the root still on the shallots. Once tailed I put them in a container and pour boiling water over them and leave them till the water is cool enough to put your hand in. This makes them very easy to peel, with no tears. In the vast majority of cases by squeezing the shallot as you top them the skin comes off in one go. It is then in to a tub of brine for 24 hrs. Tomorrow I will wash them off and dry them and they will be ready for pickl

My cousin has ponies on the Beacons same as his father and grandfather before him. Start at 18.45 on the video it's my cousins two daughters helping with the gathering in of the ponies. The foals are separated from the mothers and are sold usually for the hook in France. Although one of the main reasons that there is no market for the ponies is that they do so well on rubbish feed once they get on good lowland grass they get laminitis. TC
  21. Looks a tidy place, nice bit of wind and you could have some fun with the long nets in the night there. I can't get over with the gorse bushes how much that could be a scene from a British days ferreting especially with the rain. TC
  22. Rob, you never cease to amaze me. Another perfect "A day in the life" study. Totally believable, the body language is spot on you really are taking taxidermy to another level. Edited to add: You still haven't Ironed those bloody sheets. TC
  23. Yes that is proper vinegar, but you might want to check the acidity of it, should say on the bottle if it is over 5% add some water to it, unless you really like the bite of the vinegar. TC
