  1. Spot on. It takes two rows to make a mesh. Think of it like this when making a purse net and you make your first row on a ring you have half a mesh, it is only when you make the second row do you have a full mesh. He needs to count the meshes to know how much net he has, but as he seems to be having trouble counting to 15 I think he should give that a miss. TC
  2. I am sure your book is worth a read to anyone who is intrested, you have had a fair bit of free advertising so far. So please stop spamming the boards now with your adverts for the book. TC

    the valleys

Well, as a valley born I do not count Pembrokeshire as the valleys, not sure where Mad Als from? However Johnnyboy would suit the bill! That said, get your fecking head out of your ar$e and stop trying to be a clever Cnut. TC
  4. Anyone who would stoop so low as to steal of a charity, is in my eyes beneath contept. But, they have to sell them on, and the people who buy them are just as bad. They will know where the gear has come from but will still buy them. Personally, I hope they buy bad drugs out of the money and die an agonising death. TC
  5. I was reading the OP when the first person to come into my mind was you. TC

  7. Are these posts a wind up? Have a bit of perspective. TC
  8. I know nothing about red deer, is there a time of year when the stags only will congregate? Other spiecies do I know, I just do not know about reds. Anyone know? TC
  9. One thing does purplex me about this "photo" why are there no ripples on the water at the bottom of the picture? The lead stag has been out of the water long enough for the ripples to have travelled 20 to 30 ft from the stags exit point from the water. Also where the other stags are swimming the ripples do not seem to be radiating away from where they are swimming? Odd that. TC
  10. Who ever took that needs their heads seeing too. A photo like that as a limited edition print would make a mint. It is withouit a doubt one of the best wildlfe photos I have ever seen. TC
  11. I have noticed this also, Good thing is though, the ferrets are not going to eat the shit. TC
  12. Linky no worky. Was this the site it was from? http://www.vespe.com/blog/carp-feeding-underwater/ TC

  14. I brine shoulder of pork but have never tried goose brined. For pork I use 15g of salt and 30 grams of sugar to 350 ml of water.what was the ratio you used? TC
  15. A young one. Old geese can be tough as old boots. TC
  16. One thing is for certain, you will never know untill you try. There are so many factors that could influence the out come. How hungry the rabbit are, how far the stray from home when it is well lit by the moon, how mutch rain we have had in the last few days. The list is endless. I don't think anyone can work it all out, but just by going out you can learn enough to give yourself an edge. Every area is different, what works for me may not work for you and vice versa. There is only one way to find out, get out and give it a go. TC
  17. I have a copy, but it is in good old VHS. Any good to you? TC
  18. Watch the weather forcasts for the wind directions and see what the wind does after dark. Most winds from NW round to SE will drop off after dark, there are exceptions of course. Those NW through to SE winds are usually connected to high pressure, although a low pressure system to the south or the north of the UK can cause the same winds and they will blow into the night. Basically if the winds are caused by a high pressure will drop off early evening, if caused by low presssure they usually stay viable. During high pressure the winds are not really winds at all. Please bear with me while
  19. I have for sale this 4 gun cabinet. The safe is approved for the use of keeping guns safe by Dyfed Powys police. It is made out of 2mm plate and welded seams top and bottom. It has a cartridge compartment at the top of the cabinet. Idealy it will be pick up only as it weighs nearly 30 kilos, but I am willing to post at buyers cost. TC
  20. What an odd question, It is obvious that the rabbit is still alive. TC
  21. Nearly all dogs do a job of work, does not matter if they hunt or not. Ask any old person who has a dog as a companion if that dog works for them. Or the kid with a mongrel that follows it round all day. There is more to a dog working than if it hunts or not. TC
  22. http://www.neemantools.com/en/products/axes--adzes rough idea of his prices. TC
  23. Funnily enough, although I agree 100% with your post. The practice of muzzling ferrets is not as obsolete as we would like to think. TC
